Osho wrote many letters to Ma Kusum Bharti and her husband Kapil, then of Ludhiana. Most were addressed to Kusum, but always mentioning Kapil too. 27 were published in Prem Ke Swar (प्रेम के स्वर). Sannyas Wiki has images of all but one of those published in PKS, plus three unpublished ones.

This letter was published in Prem Ke Swar (प्रेम के स्वर) as letter #11. The letterhead is a typical one of those days, showing a simple all-lower-case "acharya rajneesh" at "kamala nehru nagar" in "jabalapur (m. p.)", with his 4-digit phone number and a two-colour Jeevan Jagriti Kendra logo.

The date this letter was written is not 100% established. On the face of it, it is one of the rare ones which do not have any date. Since Osho's signature comes right to the edge, there is a possibility that the date, which is usually right under his signature, somehow got "snipped" off, but otoh the letter's image looks intact. Another source, Shailendra's pdf of the whole book, has the date as 29th November 1969, and since that fits in with the consistent pattern of chronological order of the letters in PKS, that has been provisionally adopted here.
