Don't Ask Me to Write

This letter which is not exactly a letter is not known to have been previously published. It has been offered by Osho's brother Shailendra, who has kindly transcribed and translated it, text below. He adds by way of explanation that Shrirampur is a small town in Maharashtra, in Ahmednagar district. Someone insisted that Osho write him a message while Osho was sitting in a train, just ready to leave the station. Click on the image to enlarge.

Ma Prem Niyati (Vijaya Nirmal) about the letter:

12/2/1967

Don't ask me to write. The mind should be just like this unwritten empty paper. Therefore, every day keep on removing the dust gathered on the mind -- maintain this awareness each moment. Die to the past, each moment. This is the secret to have a new life always. And the mind which is always new, fresh and empty can achieve the truth easily; because that is the truth.

Rajneesh Ke Pranaam

12/2/1967
Shrirampur
