(Kamlesh Pandey)


Kamlesh is one of the most well-known scriptwriters of Indian Cinema. He started in advertising in 1970 with Hindustan Thompson Associates as a Copywriter. He has written over 50 films and won 'National Filmfare Award' for 'Tezaab' and 'National Screen Award' for ‘Saudagar’. He wrote 'Rang De Basanti', the film selected as India’s entry to compete for the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar in 2007. As far his work in TV, he has won the Indian Television Academy Award 2007 for the Best Dialogue for ‘Virrudha.’
