Yatri is an English visual artist and writer born in the UK in 1936. He has worked in many fields, starting off in kinetic and constructionist art exhibiting in many galleries, as well as at the British Pavilion at Expo 67 in Montreal.

He lived in Pune One for seven years and was involved in book design for much of that time, including compiling ''[[The Sound of Running Water]]''. In 1986, he and his designer wife Magda(lena) founded Labyrinth Publishing in Italy, designing and illustrating books for Stephen Hawking, among others, and publishing four original books (biblio below). In 1996, they founded Moonrunner Design, doing illustrations for Richard Dawkins, National Geographic, Scientific American, Discover, Kijk ,Welt der Wunder, The New York Times, and Mother Jones, among others.
