i have been stretching canvases at the art shop for five months now it nearly drove me insane but i have to admit i have fallen in love with blank canvases before they're painted upon and puked upon and shat upon by so called artists there is a pristine stillness there is an omnipotent silence under even the greatest painting is the same naked nothingness

i once stretched a famous painting worth $150,000 then i yawned and rolled my eyes at its insignificance

but a blank canvas, now there is something magnificent and magical pregnant and priceless,

i encourage everyone to hang a large white canvas from a wall in their home it will tease you and taunt you you will see all sorts of images from your imagination on it but do not paint it with projections just let it hang naked as a reminder of nothing
