Sw Prabhu Sharan
(Tony Sheridan, né Anthony Esmond Sheridan McGinnity)
Sharan/Tony, 21 May 1940 – 16 February 2013, was an English rock and roll singer-songwriter and guitarist. He was best known as an early collaborator of The Beatles, the only non-Beatle to appear as lead singer on a Beatles recording which charted as a single. He lived most of his adult life near Hamburg, though with long forays elsewhere, including the States, where he played with Elvis' band, and a stint in Vietnam entertaining the troops, where he was radicalized, starting him on the quest which led him to Osho in 1982. Osho News obit page (link below) has translations of German interview segments where he talks about sannyas, + links to whole original interviews.
