Veetdharm (stage name Morgan Fisher) was born 1950/1/1 in London.
1966-1970: Morgan played the organ with the soul / pop band, The Soul Survivors, who in 1967 renamed themselves The Love Affair. He then formed the classical rock band Morgan.
1973-77: Joined the Third Ear Band for a brief period. Then joined Mott the Hoople. Mott later became British Lions with the addition of singer John Fiddler from Medicine Head.
1978-82: Set up Pipe Music, an independent studio and record label in London. In 1981 visited Poona for 4 months, until Osho suddenly left. Then lived in the sannyas centre in Brussels for about a year. In 1982 played keyboards on Queen's 1982 tour of Europe.
1983-84: Returning to England Veetdharm lived for a while in Medina Rajneesh. Visited Rajneeshpuram several times and played music there often.
1985: Moved to Japan and created The Handmade Studio in Tokyo (where he still lives). Continues to make ambient and improvised music, and has evolved a style of abstract photography he calls Light Painting or Light Art. Created music for many films and TV ads. Performed in major temples and shrines, and at Expo 90 in Osaka. Japanese artists he has worked with include Yoko Ono, Dip in the Pool, Yellow Monkey, The Boom, Heat Wave, Kina Shoukichi, Kokoo, Haruomi Hosono of Yellow Magic Orchestra. He has also performed with various non-Japanese artists including Robyn Hitchcock, Joachim Roedelius, members of REM and Def Leppard, Julee Cruise, Roger Daltrey, Lisa Ronson, Reeves Gabrels, and many more. Starting in the summer of 2018 he will be touring again with his 70s band Mott the Hoople.
Since 1987 he is personally and professionally known as Morgan Fisher.
