Deliberations

Only source for info on this book is osho.com, which has only an audio offering. They provide titles for each mp3 / chapter, but the first four are actually "unavailable" for potential purchasers.

We have a complicated pair of Dates and Places images from Jagdish, the first of which gives a simple picture of Girah Hamara if considered in isolation, but accompanying it is this information about Sakshi Ka Bodh (साक्षी का बोध), which has a number of tendrils connecting it, almost in neuronal dendritic fashion, to other series. This theme may eventually get developed here but Girah Hamara has enough tendrils of its own, so we'll stick to them for now. First the simple part, from the first image:

1. Oct 22 1966 pm Matheran
2. Oct 23 1966 am
3. Oct 23 1966 om
4. Oct 23 1966 pm
5. Oct 24 1966 am
6. Oct 24 1966 om
7. Oct 24 1966 pm
8. Oct 25 1966 am
9. Oct 25 1966 om

A simple, three-day camp in good old Matheran. (Times of day have been added by me, assuming a "normal" camp timetable appropriate to the three-a-day pattern in the two full days.) What could be simpler?

Well, the other of Jagdish's images casts a pall on this simple prospect by marginalizing the first four of Girah Hamara's discourses, at the very least splitting the first four off from the last five. Trying to keep it simple, we can say that Samadhi Kamal (समाधि कमल) may be just a marauding compilation that has grabbed some of Girah Hamara's discourses and left the others behind. Girah Hamara in this view is still simple and unsullied, an innocent, whole meditation camp, bearing in mind that Samadhi Kamal is also said to be a camp held in Matheran. This relationship btw is also attested to in Shifting content in Hindi books (source document).

Still, keeping it as simple as the apparent facts will allow is the name of the game here, so for now we will assume and hope that the above bucolic camp timetable for Girah Hamara applies, whatever its later tendrils and fates. (Which include the Jeevan-Amrit (जीवन-अमृत) compilation mentioned on the article page, the Jeevan Geet (जीवन गीत) entanglement mentioned in Samadhi Kamal's image and the Jeevan Ki Khoj (जीवन की खोज) mentioned below. Lotta Jeevan(s) there!

[Note to self: find out what this title means. The "Kink in Our Numbness" from G**gle Translate does not seem quite right somehow! Something more idiomatic needed.] -- doofus-9 18:21, 17 January 2019 (UTC)

Structure of the camp (source: Jyoti Shikha (ज्योति शिखा), issue 3, Dec 1966, p.111-112):

Morning - discourse and meditation
Afternoon - Question-Answer session and personal talks
Night - Question-Answer and discourse
