Deliberations

In a couple of places at Osho World, there were blurbs about Sangeet which included a mention of Udaipur and "experiments," which sounded a lot like a meditation camp. The only one currently known in Udaipur was May 14-17, 1966, but others may come to light. (If it was indeed so. One of the OW places cited had some fairly flaky info along with the Udaipur mention and might be discounted on that basis.)

Regarding the editions, there was some variable information connected with both the Rebel and Diamond editions, especially the Diamond one. Some places had different ISBNs (9798171825294), page counts (130) and pub dates (2009). And the Rebel edition had a different page count somewhere, now lost. Ch.1: first evening talk of 3-days series, night meditation in the end. "I miss a short story, let me start the three-day discussions." "The soul of man is easily free, calm, blissful. Unhappy, you are planning. You are in bondage, you have made handcuffs. You are suffering, you seem very skilled in causing trouble. It is your skill that you are causing trouble. It is your workmanship that you are creating misery. And you are not ordinary artisans, because on that soul you build a house of sorrow, that soul is hard to touch. And you are not an ordinary smart blacksmith, you place chains on a soul on which no one has ever been chained, nor can sit. And the fun is fun. They make the chains themselves and then move around those chains, how do we get rid of them? Need some way - how to calm down, how to be blissful, how to get out of sorrow?

"In this primary discussion on the first day, I want to tell you that..." "In these three days, it has to be searched intensively. Every day I will talk about its different sources. But all the sutras will be taken this way. I will push from different place. But the bang will be the one to bang the same place."

Ch.2: starts "It can be held unmanned which is in prison; He can be freed. One who is asleep can be woken up; But it is very difficult to awaken someone who is awake and in the illusion that I am asleep. And it is very difficult to open one who is free and thinks that I am bound. And around which there are no chains and with closed eyes, I dream that I am tied in chains, and you ask how to break these chains? How to be free How to leave? So there is a lot of difficulty.

"I told you something on the first thread in this regard. (Reference to ch.1.) The soul of a human being is not free, and we are sitting on it as a layer. Do not make human soul independent. All you need to know is that the soul is free.

"Today, in this second sutra, it is necessary to point again from the other direction. There is only one moon, gestures can be made with many fingers. The same is true, one can enter through many gates. In the second sutra it is necessary to understand what we are looking for?"

"That's why the second sutra wants to tell you: Don't search, stay! Do not run, stop!"

In the end: "And then we will sit at night... See you again for that jump at night." (It seems reference to ch.4.)

Ch.3: q/a.

Ch.5: morning talk. "In this meeting of this morning, I would like to say something..." In the end: "At night, we will also sit for the experiment how to do this experiment and enter inside." (It can be reference to ch.7.)

Ch.6: q/a. Starts by "First of all, a friend has asked that yesterday I said to leave the search. (Reference to ch.2.) And if we leave the search, then science will not be born." After response to q.1: "The other friend has asked many questions. Take one or two questions from it, then those who remain will take tomorrow." (It seems reference to ch.9.) Then q.2 follows. During response to q.2: "One small thing then let me finish my talk. Then tomorrow, the questions that remain, we will talk." Ends by: "Then, and those who are left will talk tomorrow." (It seems reference to ch.9.)

Ch.7: night meditation in the end. In beginning: "Today evening I will discuss another direction and door in search of that bliss, that elixir."

Ch.8: q/a. It starts by "Many questions have been asked by friends regarding the three-day discussions.". "If we raise a naked woman in Udaipur in India, how many people will come to see?" In the end: "A few more questions remain, I will talk to you about the evening." (It seems reference to ch.10.)

Ch.9: q/a.

Ch.10: q/a, last talk for 4 days. Starts by "Many questions have been sent by friends regarding the three days of discussions. I will try to answer as many questions as possible." And ends by "Heard my words with so much peace and so much love these four days".

Talks look as in chronological order. 3 talks per day starting with evening talk.
