This page is quite the anomaly in the world of Hindi pubs, starting with its English title. The only other English titles are basically Admin functions and do not purport to represent particular series of talks. About this one, do we even know for a fact that these press conferences actually exist, ie as something distinct from other known material? "Other known material" could be translations of English Press Conferences, Last Testaments, etc and also the other Hindi World Tour series, especially Koplen Phir Phoot Aayeen (कोंपलें फिर फूट आईं), which has a similar time frame. Since the beginning of this page's history, there has been a query, "(in Hindi only?)" We don't seem to know much. Is there a source?

Assuming at least some of the supposed sixteen in this alleged series are distinct from other known material, can we actually nail down any of them? Well, a few, maybe. "Doc X" concerns itself only with original Hindi series and says there are three of them, and actually gives dates: Aug 2 & 4 and Oct 27. "Doc X's" record with date data is not stellar, so a little corroboration would be nice, but it's a start. These dates have been duly entered into the Timeline and assigned discourse numbers arbitrarily, on a tentative basis. -- updated doofus-9 (talk) 21:03, 11 April 2015 (UTC)

Just FYI: In the early nineties, in the audio Re-mastering project, there were 15 tapes announced to be coming, but never delivered. They were called "Hindi Pressconferences" #01 through #15. Location: Bombay, India. The first archive code was said to be 86-07-31-5, the last 86-08-15-5. --Sugit (talk) 12:30, 16 February 2017 (UTC) (updated 2018-01-10)

I have taken a closer look at the Hindi audios that were announced in the re-mastering project of 1994. My question is: should we have these as extra events, or do they correspond to events that were published in Koplen Phir Phoot Aayeen and/or Phir Amrit Ki Boond Padi ? Here is a comparison table:

(*1) Hindi audios announced (with name and archivecode) in the audio re-mastering project of 1994. (They were never delivered.)

(*2) Events taken from "Doc X".

What do you guys think? My feeling is that the "Hindi Pressconferences" were temporary names for interviews that were published in those 2 books, so not to be entered as extra events. Of course, that only works if these events ARE interviews: if they would be 'discourses' then the the question comes back. Question for a Hindi reader.

It seems also questionable if these 3 DocX Press Conferences are separate events. For now, I'll leave them in the timeline. --Sugit (talk) 17:18, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
