Talk:The Voice of Silence
Does Bombay period (1970-1974) include to Early Talk category? Sudhana-Sutra is in the category.--DhyanAntar 12:33, 22 January 2019 (UTC)
Good point. I would say not. Maybe good to do a check of the years of that category, but I would say it ends before Osho's Bombay period. --Sugit (talk) 12:40, 22 January 2019 (UTC)
I can do checks and corrections. Rudra, give confirmation does we not include Bombay period? Hindi section has included this period in Early Talks.--DhyanAntar 12:46, 22 January 2019 (UTC)
hmmm, prob. best to check the other English Bombay books. i guess they are Eary Talks.--Rudra 12:22, 23 January 2019 (UTC)
But category:Early Talks and Writings says "discourses dated prior to March 21, 1974".
Will remove Bobay period and will state "July 1, 1970, right?--DhyanAntar 05:56, 5 February 2019 (UTC)
That seems OK to me from the standpoint of what we call "early". But there is one other consideration: the historical categories that the publishers (mainly Rajneesh Foundation) applied in their publication-lists. Those lists were the basis for our categories. They used "Early Discourses and Writings" for many titles. Of these, some are about talks after 1 July 1970. As far as I know, that could be these:
- The Art of Living
- Beyond and Beyond
- The Inward Revolution
- Flight of the Alone to the Alone
- LSD: A Shortcut to False Samadhi
- The Occult Meaning of Asanas and Mudras
- Yoga As a Spontaneous Happening
- The Perennial Path: The Art of Living
- Wisdom of Folly
- The Vital Balance
- Secrets of Discipleship
- The Mysteries of Life and Death
- The Heartbeat of the Absolute
- I Am the Gate
- Hidden Mysteries
- Behind a Thousand Names
- Seriousness
- Lead Kindly Light
So maybe this is a reason to drop that old designation, and give a better one. Then our category "Early Talks" is simply "before July 1, 1970". --Sugit (talk) 09:25, 5 February 2019 (UTC)
