Extra: In addition to the background image on this page, there are words
in verse form, more or less the words from Kabir that Osho
comments on in The Revolution, ch. 9.
They are as follows:

The darkness of the night is coming along fast
The shadows of love close in the body and in the mind.

Open the window to the west
and disappear into the air inside you.

Near your breastbone there is one open flower.
Drink the honey that is all around that flower.

There is so much magnificence near the ocean.
      Waves are coming in.

      Kabir says: Friend, listen.
This is what I have to say to you:
The guest I love is inside me.

      Listen: sound of immense seashells,
      sound of bells.

So apparently this is an early version of this song. It contains not only the lyrics "There is so much magnificence / Hallelujah",
but also words that are from the "extra" text on the sheet music above. And then more beautiful lyrics
"Listen, listen, listen...", which I did not hear before. Anyone has more information?

Waves of Love

While spending six months in Brazil, I performed a version of the chant, "So Much Magnificence" , from which came the question: "what would it be like if there were more words?" . Five years later in an old caravan, at a folk music weekend at a beautiful thatched pub near Cambridge, the words came pouring through, I could hardly write fast enough. "There is so music magnificence near the ocean, waves are coming in" is a line taken from a poem by the Indian poet Kabir. (Ravi)
THERE IS SO MUCH MAGNIFICENCE, NEAR THE OCEAN, WAVES ARE COMING IN
THERE’S A LIGHT ON THE WATER, SONS AND DAUGHTERS, FROM THE PAST AND THE FUTURE
SONGS AND PRAYERS OF OUR ANCESTORS, GRANDMOTHERS AND FATHERS RETURNING ON THE WAVE OF THIS SONG
COME TOGETHER IN THE POWER OF SOUND, BROTHERS AND SISTERS
AS THE WALLS OF ILLUSION TUMBLE DOWN
SINGING CIRCLES ON THE WATER, SONS AND DAUGHTERS
WE CREATE…… AS WE WILL IN THIS AGE
SONGS AND PRAYERS FOR THE FUTURE, SEE THE EYES
OF THE NEXT SEVEN GEN-ERATIONS
HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE BEEN PROVED WRONG
LET THE WAVES OF VOICES WASH OVER YOU IN THIS SONG
A CHANCE TO TRUST IN THIS PRESENT TIME
LET THE WAVES OF LOVE WASH OVER YOU IN THIS LIFE

"At Snatam Kaur's Sacred Chant Retreat in Costa Rica in April 2011,
Deva Premal and Miten with Manose joined Snatam Kaur and GuruGanesha on stage
for a special night of incredible kirtan and bliss.
In this video they sing 'So Much Magnificence' with a special call
and response between the men and women, an amazing experience."
