A man devoted to music, both guitar and sitar, Antar was a student of Ustad Ali Akbar Khan and Pandit Nikhil Banerjee since 1971. He was a sitar instructor UCLA 1985-89, and also went to Pune and took sannyas.
He left his body Feb 26 2024 at age 74.
