Couples (group)

"Couples" was a three-day Pune One therapy group led by Amitabh. The Community to Provoke God brochure offered this as a brief description:

The group functions on the basic premise that a love relationship works like a mirror. Through the interaction of any couples' situation -- lovers, father-daughter, sisters -- participants are provoked and seduced into seeing aspects of themselves reflected in the mirror of the other.

According to the groups timeline chart in The Sound of Running Water, Couples was offered from Dec 1977 to Mar 1978, TSORW's cut-off date. It continued to be offered well after that but its end-date is not known. It may also have been somewhat discontinuous, as Amitabh would always leave for the States during the hot season, though others may have led the group in those times.
