View source for Letter written on 14 Jan 1971 (Veetaraga)

Osho wrote many letters in Hindi and English to [[Sw Chaitanya Veetaraga]], some of which were published in various letter collections. This one is mostly in Hindi, with some English, dated 14th January 1971. It was published in ''[[Dhai Aakhar Prem Ka (ढ़ाई आखर प्रेम का)]]'' as letter #61. An Osho World pdf of this book says it was written to Kamlesh, though that name does not appear in the letter. It also has the date as 14 Jan 1972, but that appears to be a systemic error whereby many 1971 dates are put as 1972. 

The letterhead, the "standard" early Woodland letterhead, reads:

The logo in the upper right corner is a "standard" [[Jeevan Jagriti Kendra]] logo in two colours.

The whole letter is written in black ink except for a bright blue signature.

मेरे प्रिय,<br>
प्रेम। एक शिष्य ने केम्बो (Kembo) से पूछाः "सभी बुद्ध पुरुष निर्वाण के एक ही मार्ग पर अग्रसर होते हैं और सभी युगों के। लेकिन वह मार्ग कहां है और कहां से प्रारंभ होता है ? (Where does that road begin ?)

केम्बो ने अपनी छड़ी उठाकर हवा में शून्य की आकृति बनाते हुए कहाः "यह रहा वह मार्ग। <u>यहीं से</u> वह शुरू होता है। (Here it is.) 

यही शिष्य फिर उमोन (Ummon) के पास गया और वही सवाल उससे भी पूछा।

दोपहर थी और उमोन के हाथ में पंखा था। उसने सभी दिशों में पंखा हिलाकर कहाः " वह मार्ग <u>कहां नहीं है</u>? उसका प्रारंभ <u>कहां नहीं है</u>? (Where it is not ? )

और जब किसीने ममोन (mumon) से इस घटना का राज पूंछा, तो उसने कहाः "<u>इसके पहले कि प्रथम कदम उठे मंजिल आजाती है और इसके पूर्व कि जिह्वा हिले वक्तव्य पूरा होजाता है।</u>" (Before the first step is taken the goal is reached. And, before the tongue is moved the speech is finished.)
