प्रिय माणिक बाबू,
प्रेम। आपका पत्र मिला है। अकलंक तो प्रतीक्षा करता करता चला भी गया है। आप श्री हस्तीमल जी से बात करलें तो फिर उसे डालमियानगर से बुलाकर भेजदें। उसने फार्म भरकर तो भेज दिया है, लेकिन अभीतक उसे वहां से कोई उत्तर नहीं मिला है। मैं तो श्रीरामपुर में आपकी राह ही देखता रहा। बारामती से मुझे खयाल हुआ था कि पूना होता चलूँ लेकिन आधा घंटे से ज्यादा नहीं रुक सकता था इसलिए फिर विचार छोड़ दिया। शेष शुभ। वहां सबको प्रणाम।

Partial translation
"Akalank kept on waiting and has even gone (now). You talk to Shree Hastimal Ji – then call him to Dalmianagar and send (him). He filled the form and have sent already, but until now he has not received any reply from there. I just kept on waiting for you in Shrirampur. From Baramati I got a thought that I come via Poona but couldn’t have stayed for more that half an hour, so then I left it there."
