Letter written on 18 Jul 1961
This is one of hundreds of letters Osho wrote to Ma Anandmayee, then known as Madan Kunwar Parekh. It was written on 18th July 1961. The letterhead has a simple "रजनीश" (Rajneesh) in the top left area, in a heavy but florid font, and "115, Napier Town, Jabalpur (M.P.) in the top right, in a lighter but still somewhat florid font.
Osho's salutation in this letter has undergone a shift to "प्यारी मां", Pyari Maan, replacing the normal "प्रिय मां", Priya Maan, both meaning Dear Mom, Beloved Mother. It has a couple of the hand-written marks that have been observed in other letters: a blue number (8) in a circle in the top right corner and a pale blue figure of unknown significance in the top left area.

 रजनीश १८.७.६१ प्यारी मां, रेखाओं में देखते देखते तुम्हारे हाथों को देख लिया है और फिर तो तुम पूरी ही प्रगट होआई हो। कोरा कागज नहीं भेजा जासका न – इससे खुद ही उसमें आना पड़ा है! सुबह घर की बगीया में था तब तुम्हारा स्मरण आया था। बाग अब खूब सुन्दर होउठा है : उसके फूल तुम्हारी बाट देखते हैं। सब सौंदर्य प्रतीक्षा करता हैं : कोई देखे। फूल तो मुझे हमेशा प्रतीक्षातुर मालुम होते हैं। कल-परसो माली भी पूछ रहा था : उसका चित्र लिया था इससे उसे स्मरण है। मैं आनंद में हूँ। सबको मेरे विनम्र प्रणाम। रजनीश (पुनश्च: तारा का पत्र भी मिला है। इतनी दूर से मैं क्या सलाह दूँ? फिर साधारण कार्यों में सलाह देने मुझसे बात भी नहीं पड़ती है। आप सबहैं जैसा ठीक समझे वैसा करलें। उसे अपने विवेक पर ही निर्भर रहना चाहिए। कुछ भी करले : इस सब करने का बहुत मूल्य नहीं है। जिसका मूल्य है उस आंतरिक चेतना जगत् में कुछ करने चले तो मेरी उपयोगीता है। उसे मेरा स्नेह कहै।) |
