Letter written on 1 Apr 1965 xm

Letter written to Ma Yoga Sohan on 1 Apr 1965 in the evening. It is unknown if it has been published or not.

रात्रिः १ अप्रैल १९६५ प्रिय सोहन, स्नेह। आज सुबह ही तुम्हें पत्र लिखा है। उसके बाद ही बम्बई से कार्यक्रम संबंधी पत्र मिला है। उसके अनुसार १३ अप्रैल सुबह मुझे पूना बोलना है। इस कारण १२ अप्रैल को ३ बजे तुम्हें और माणिक बाबू को कल्याण आकर मुझे कार से लेना होगा। पहले सोचा था कि माणिक बाबू को परेशान न करूँ और ट्रेन से ही आजाऊँ लेकिन मेरी गाड़ी के पहुँचने और पूना-गाड़ी के छूटने में केवल आठ मिनिट का अंतर है, इसलिए यदि मेरी गाड़ी थोड़ी भी देर से पहुँची तो उसका मिलना मुश्किल होगा ! १३ अप्रैल को सुबह बोलकर दोपहर ही बम्बई लौटना होगा। १३ की रात्रि, १४ की सुबह और रात्रि बम्बई कार्यक्रम रखा है। शेष शुभ। तुम्हारे पत्र की प्रतिक्षा है। श्री माणिक बाबू को प्रेम। बच्चों को आशीष। रजनीश के प्रणाम पुनश्च : १५ अप्रैल कि संध्या मैं बम्बई से वापिस लौटूँगा।

Translation

"Night:

1 April 1965

Dear Sohan,

Love, today morning only I wrote letter to you. Only after that I received a letter from Bombay regarding the program. According to that I have to speak on 13th morning at Poona. For this reason you and Manik Babu have to come to Kalyan and take me by car. First I thought not to trouble Manik Babu and I would come by train (to Poona) itself. But there is difference of only eight minutes between the train leaving for Poona and my time reaching (at Kalyan) – so if my train reaches even little late then getting that train (to Poona) would be difficult.

After speaking on 13th April morning I will have to return to Bombay in the afternoon only. Programs at Bombay are kept in the night of 13th, morning and night of 14th. Rest OK. I am waiting for your letter. Love to Manik Babu – blessings to the children.
