Letter written to Lala Motilal Jain, named here as Vijay, on 25th November 1962 in the afternoon.

आचार्य रजनीश दर्शन विभाग ११५, नेपियर टाउन, जबलपुर (म. प्र.) प्रिय विजय, स्नेह। मैं २१ तारीख को तुम्हारी बारात में नहीं आ सका उसके लिए दुखी हूँ और क्षमा प्रार्थी हूँ। २१ तारीख को मेल पर एक बर्थ का रिजर्वेशन १० दिन पूर्व ही करा लिया था लेकिन २३ तारीख को विश्वविद्यालयीन बोर्ड ऑफ स्टडीज की अनायास बैठक के कारण आना संभव नहीं था। रिजर्वेशन रद्द करने के कारण व्यर्थ ही टिकिट का २०% कटा और मैं उपस्थित भी नहीं हो सका। पर मैं आशा करता हूँ कि सब कार्य सकुशल सम्पन्न हो गये होंगे। परिवार में सबको मेरे प्रणाम कहना और मेरी ओर से क्षमायाचना भी मांग लेना। श्रीमती विजय को भी मेरा स्नेह कहना। शेष शुभ। आओ तो मिलना। रजनीश की शुभकामनाएं दोपहर : २५ नवं. १९६२

Translation

Dear Vijay,

Love. I could not attend your procession on the 21st, I am sad and sorry for that. Reservation of a berth was made 10 days in advance on the mail on 21st but on 23rd it was not possible to come due to sudden meeting of University Board of Studies. Due to cancellation of reservation, 20% of the ticket was deducted in vain and I could not even attend. But I hope that all the work will be completed successfully. Say my salutations to everyone in the family and thank you on my behalf I also extend my affection to Mrs. Vijay. Rest good. Come meet me.
