Letter written on 26 May 1963 (Anandmayee)

This is one of hundreds of letters Osho wrote to Ma Anandmayee, then known as Madan Kunwar Parakh. It was written on 26th May 1963. The letterhead has "Acharya Rajneesh" in a large, messy font to the right of and above the rest, which reads:

Osho's salutation in this letter is "प्रिय मां", Priya Maan, Dear Mom. There are none of the hand-written marks seen in other letters except a faint, barely readable mirror-image number in the bottom right corner, 185. This letter has been published, in Bhavna Ke Bhojpatron Par Osho (भावना के भोजपत्रों पर ओशो) on p 221.

आचार्य रजनीश दर्शन विभाग महाकोशल कला महाविध्यालय ११५, नेपियर टाउन, जबलपुर (म. प्र.) प्रिय मां, मैं परसों गाडरवारा से लौटा तो आपका पत्र मिला है। कल अचल का पत्र भी आया है। आप दोनों ने मिलकर द्रुग का कार्यक्रम जून के प्रारंभ में रखना चाहा है। पर मेरा स्वास्थ्य कुछ थीक नहीं है इसलिए जून के सारे कार्यक्रम स्थगित करने का सोचा है। कलकत्ता, जयपुर और छतरपुर स्वीकृतियां दी थीं। उन्हें अस्वीकृति लिख रहा हूँ। द्रुग भी बर्षा में कभी रखें। ब्यावर ही स्वास्थ्य कुछ गड़बड़ था, गाडरवारा जाकर गर्मी ने और खराब कर दिया है इसलिए जून विश्राम करने का ही मन है। शेष शुभ। सबको मेरे विनम्र प्रणाम कहें। २६.५.‘६३ रजनीश के प्रणाम

The letter reads: "Received your letter day before yesterday when I returned from Gadarwara. Yesterday the letter of Achal also has come. Both of you together wish to keep the program of Drug [द्रुग-DRUG is old name now it is दुर्ग-DURG], in the beginning of June. But my health is not so good - hence decided to postpone all programs of June. Acceptance were given to Calcutta, Jaipur and Chhatarpur - to them also I am conveying the nonacceptance. Keep Drug program some time in rains. The health had some disturbance at Beawar itself - the heat made it still worse after going to Gadarwara. Hence desire to have rest in June. Rest OK. Convey my humble pranam to all. Rajneesh Ke Pranam. 26.5.'63"

From this it would be correct to infer that Osho visited Beawar along with Parakh Ji to meet Guruji (see Letter written on 12 Apr 1963 om) - where his health got disturbed (May being very hot in Rajasthan) - and further deteriorated at Gadarwara.
