This is one of three letters Osho wrote to JK Datta, an advocate living in Jabalpur in the 60s. It was written on the 27th of September 1968. It appears at first to be partly handwritten and partly typed, but the typed part in fact turns to be only a transcription of the manuscript, aside from the dates being different. The manuscript part, indicating 27 Sep, has been taken as authoritative.

Of the three letters to Shri Datta, this is the only one to have been written on any of Osho's letterheads, and this one is probably his oddest, featuring only a blob-like undecipherable logo with no "normal" information. This letterhead has popped up a few times over the years in the 60s.

This letter is not known to have been published.

Translation
"My Dear Atman,
Your letter is received.
You keep continuing the translation of 'Path Ke Pradeep'. And it would be much better if it gets completed as fast as possible. It's English translation has not been carried out yet. University of California has accepted that (Hindi book PKP) in the syllabus of M.A. (Master of Arts) in Hindi. Probably they would be able to use the English Translation (of the Hindi book PKP), also. Rest OK. Convey my pranam to everyone in the family.
Rajneesh Ke Pranam
27/9/1968"
