Letter written on 2 Jul 1969 (Kusum)
Osho wrote many letters in Hindi to Ma Kusum Bharti and her husband Kapil, then of Ludhiana. Most were addressed to Kusum, but always mentioning Kapil too. 27 were published in Prem Ke Swar (प्रेम के स्वर). Sannyas Wiki has images of all but one of those published in PKS, plus three unpublished ones, plus one in English published in The Gateless Gate.
This letter is dated 2nd July 1969. It was one of those published in Prem Ke Swar (प्रेम के स्वर), as letter #2. The letterhead was not a typical one of those days, having only a strange logo in the upper right corner, whose message and import has not yet been deciphered.
 प्यारी कुसुम, तेरा प्यारा पत्र पाकर बहुत आनंदित हूँ। मैं सोच भी नहीं सकता था कि तू इतने थोड़े से शब्दों में इतने फूल भर सकती है ? प्रेम असंभव को भी संभव बना देता है।
वहां तो तुझे मेरी सेवा में ही रहना होगा न ? लुधियाना में सत्संग का संयोजन कर रहे हैं श्री० जी. बी. एस. गिल, सीनियर सुपरिन्टेंडेंट आफ पुलिस। वे चंडीगढ़ से स्थानांतरित हो लुधियाना आगये हैं। उनसे मिल लेना। और लुधियाना के अपने मित्रों को भी खबर कर देना। कपाल मोहन और असंग को प्रेम। शेष शुभ। तेरे पत्र की प्रतीक्षा करता रहता हूँ। रजनीश के प्रणाम २/७/१९६९ |

- "God has heard your prayer and instead of Chandigarh, I am going to Ludhiana only on 3, 4, 5 August.
- "There you have to be in my service, isn’t it!
- "In Ludhiana, Shree G. B. S. Gill, Sr. Suprintendent of Police is organizing a ‘satsang (program)’. He has come to Ludhiana after transfer from Chandigarh. You meet him and inform to your friends too."
