प्रिय माणिक बाबू,<br>
प्रेम। पत्र मिला है। १४ जून के बाद मैंने और कार्यक्रम लेलिए हैं, इसलिए चाहता हुआ भी न रुक सकूंगा। हां, एक या दो दिन पहले आसकता था, लेकिन रिजर्वेशन नहीं मिल रहा है, इसलिए असमर्थता है। सोहन की बात टालने के लिए दुखी हूँ। लेकिन आगे के लिए एक दिन की जगह दो दिन का ऋण माने लेता हूँ! 

मैं ८ जून की संध्या कलकत्ता मेल से यहां से निकल रहा हूँ। ९ की दोपहर कल्याण से आप लेलें। १३ की संध्या वापसी के लिए रिजर्वेशनआपने करा ही लिए होंगे। शेष मिलने पर। 'महाराज' को प्रेम। सबको प्रणाम।

:"Dear Manik Babu,
:Love. Letter is received. I have taken up the programs after 14th June, hence I won’t be able stay (longer) even though I wish to. Yes, I could have come one or two days early, but not getting the reservation so the inability. I am unhappy to negate Sohan’s intention. But for next time I am indebted for two days (stay) in place of one!
:I am starting from here (Jabalpur) in the evening of 8th June by Calcutta Mail. You receive me at Kalyan on 9th afternoon. You have must have done the reservation for the return on 13th evening. Rest when we meet. Love to ‘Maharaj’. Pranam to all.
