Letter written on 2 Mar 1966

The letter is dated 2nd March 1966 and addressed to Ma Yoga Geeta (Mr R.K. Nandani? ). The salutation is his usual one of those times, "प्रिय आत्मन", or "Beloved Soul".

There is no pre-printed letterhead being used for this letter. It is plain paper, pure and simple. Osho has however written out his name and address in an unusual way, by adding a "ji" at the end of his name. Also noteworthy perhaps is that it is written out using Roman script, in an otherwise Devanagari letter.

Letter has been published in Ghoonghat Ke Pat Khol (घूंघट के पट खोल) as letter 14.

प्रिय आत्मन्, प्रेम। आप के दोनों पत्र मिले हैं। बहुत विचार में न पड़े। विचार से सत्य तक जाने का कोई मार्ग नहीं है। मार्ग हैः ध्यान। उसकी ओर जितने बढ़ेंगे, उसी मात्रा में शांति,आनंद और आत्मा की ओर गति होगी। ध्यान जब पूर्ण होता है तभी अंतस् चक्षु खुलते हैं और सत्य का साक्षात् होता है। सत्य तो सतत मौजूद है लेकिन हम अंधे हैं। रजनीश के प्रणाम २/३/१९६६ जबलपुर Acharya Rajnishji 115 Napier Town Yogesh Bhuwan Jabalpur

My Beloved One, Love. Have received both your letters. Don’t think too much. From thinking there is no way to reach Truth. The way is: Meditation. As you move towards it, in the same proportion you will move towards peace, bliss and being. When meditation is total, then inner eyes open and we are face to face with Truth.
