धूप छन छन कर फर्श पर आ रही है : द्वार पर लगे गुलाबों के पत्तों की छाया उसमें कम्पित है। रात रानी के पौधों का हवा के झोंकों में नृत्य चल रहा है। जीवन गत्यात्मक है। राह पर कोई बांसूरी बजाता निकलता है और एक छोटी सी चिड़िया अपनी टी..वी..टूट्..टूट् से हवाओं में मधु घोल देती है। | |||
मैं बस बैठा हूँ : कोई विचार नहीं है और देखता हूं कि समय ठहर गया है। जीवन की गति उसमें बाधा नहीं है। गति दिखती है पर जैसे कोई प्रवाह नहीं है। सब चल रहा है और सब ठहरा हुआ है। | |||
मन रुक जाये तो सब रुक जाता है। मन की गति ही संसार है : मन का ठहर जाना ही मोक्ष है। यह सारा खेल मन का है : यह सब अद्भुत लीला सारी मन की है। मन रुककर कैसा निर्मल झील-सा बन जाता है। सब झलकता है और कुछ भी विघ्न नहीं बनता है। चित्र आते हैं और चले जाते हैं : मन दौड़ता नहीं और हम देखते रह जाते हैं। सब सुन्दर होआता है : मन की दौड़ गई कि सब आनंद होआता है। | |||
मैं कल ही किसी से कहा हूँ : “मित्र! रुको और देखो। रुकते ही संसार नया है। रुकते ही देखने का – दर्शन का जन्म होता है और क्रान्ति हो जाती है। तब ज्ञान होता है कि जिसकी खोज थी वह आंख के सामने ही था। आंख न थी इसलिए देखना न हो सकाथा। मन का न ठहरना ही आंख का न होना है। मन ठहरा कि दृष्टि मिली और फिर एक नये आनंद लोक का उद्घाटन होता है। | |||

This is one of hundreds of letters Osho wrote to Ma Anandmayee, then known as Madan Kunwar Parakh. It was written in the morning of 30th October 1961.
