This is one of hundreds of letters Osho wrote to Ma Anandmayee, then known as Madan Kunwar Parakh. It was written in the morning of 4th May 1961 on an apparently new letterhead, ie new in the Anandmayee series and the earliest known use of it, but strongly resembling that of Letter written on 25 Feb 1963. See that letter's Talk page for a discussion of issues arising concerning this resemblance. The letterhead's form, briefly, has only "रजनीश" (Rajneesh) in the top left area, in a heavy but florid font, and "115, Napier Town, Jabalpur (M.P.) in the top right, in a lighter but still somewhat florid font.

Osho's salutation in this letter is "पूज्य मां", Pujya Maan, Revered Mother, apparently the new normal for this period. The letter is written sideways relative to the top, just for a change. There is a blue number (2) in a circle in the top right corner, the only hand-written "extraneous" mark on the page.

Osho informs: visited convention of "Katchhi Oswal Jain Association" yesterday at Parola near Jalgaon. Spoken on "Jain Darshan aur Sadhana" - there.

Partial translation
"With due regards I touch your feet. I have returned back after taking part in one function at Jalgaon. I hoped to have received your letter on return – (but) instead of the letter I got disappointment.
Whether my letter is not received? Certainly the letter written to Arvind is received. Why you have written that I am angry. I haven’t got a thought even in a dream that I can be angry with you – that is your privilege – not mine!
I had been to Parola near Jalgaon – in the function of ‘Katchhi Oswal Jain Sangh’. The arrangement was beautiful. There, I have spoken on “Jain Darshan and Sadhna”. What happened to Pachmadhi? Send letter soon. ‘Hope you are healthy.
My humble pranam to all!"
