Letter written on 5 Sep 1962 pm

This is one of hundreds of letters Osho wrote to Ma Anandmayee, then known as Madan Kunwar Parakh. It was written on 5th September 1962 in the evening. The letterhead is a new "professional" letterhead, seen only a couple of times when first introduced in Nov 1961. It has in the top left corner: Acharya Rajneesh / Darshan Vibhag (Philosophy Dept) / Mahakoshal Mahavidhalaya (Mahakoshal University) and in the top right: Nivas (Home) / 115, Napier Town / Jabalpur (Madhyapradesh).

Osho's salutation in this letter is a fairly typical "प्रिय मां", Priya Maan, Dear Mom. There are none of the hand-written marks that have been observed in other letters except a mirror-image number in the bottom right corner, which, as with other recent letters, actually consists of two numbers, one crossed out (128) and replaced by a pink number, 130.

The letter has been published, in Bhavna Ke Bhojpatron Par Osho (भावना के भोजपत्रों पर ओशो) (2002 Diamond edition), on p 154.

The letter reads: "Dear Ma, Pranam. Yesterday I have returned back from Bombay. Your letter was received through Shree Dhanpatlal Ji. Shree Bhikhamchand Kothari Ji also reached along with his wife. Programs at Bombay have been successful. Off course it did worried me about your health. Write back - how is your health now? Rest all is well. Convey my humble pranam to all. Shree Kothari Ji about to reach Chanda. Rajneesh Ke Pranam." Night: 5 Sep. 1962 (Letter ends).
