Letter written on 6 Oct 1961
This is one of hundreds of letters Osho wrote to Ma Anandmayee, then known as Madan Kunwar Parakh. It was written on 6th October 1961. The letterhead has a simple "रजनीश" (Rajneesh) in the top left area, in a heavy but florid font, and "115, Napier Town, Jabalpur (M.P.) in the top right, in a lighter but still somewhat florid font.
Osho's salutation in this letter is a simple "मां", Maan, Mom or Mother. It has a few of the hand-written marks that have been observed in other letters: a blue number (24) in a circle in the top right corner, a red tick mark, and a second number (50) in the bottom right corner.
 रजनीश मां, एक सर्व-धर्म-सम्मेलन से बोलकर लौट रहा हूँ। मैं कहा हूँ कि धर्म एक ही है और एक ही हो सकता है। अनेकता जहां है वहां धर्म नहीं है, धर्म का नाम मात्र है। संप्रदाय धर्म विरोधी हैं : वे धर्म की शुद्ध भूमि तक पहुँचने में बाधायें हैं। प्रत्यक सीमा बाधा है; कारण, धर्म असीम की उपलब्धि के लिए जो है। हम जो जानते हैं, हम जो हैं – वह सब लेकर धर्म तक, सत्य तक नहीं पहुँचा जा सकता है। अज्ञात को पाने के लिए ज्ञात को छोड़ना आवश्यक है। शून्य, शांत और संस्कार मुक्त चित्त में ही सत्य का अवतरण हो सकता है। हम मिटते हैं तब सत्य आता है। धर्म नया जन्म है इसलिए धर्म पुराने की मृत्यु भी है। रजनीश के प्रणाम ६ अक्तू. १९६१ (पुनस्च: |
