Letter written on 8 Mar 1961 am
This is one of hundreds of letters Osho wrote to Ma Anandmayee, then known as Madan Kunwar Parakh. It was written in the morning on 8th March 1961 on his personal letterhead stationery of the day: The top left corner reads: Rajneesh / Darshan Vibhag (Philosophy Dept) / Mahakoshal Mahavidhalaya (Mahakoshal University). The top right reads: Nivas (Home) / Yogesh Bhavan, Napiertown / Jabalpur (M.P.). Many of his earlier letters on this letterhead had the number 115 added in by hand before "Yogesh Bhavan" to complete his address, but by this date, the practice seems largely abandoned. This letter does not have Osho's usual salutation, "प्रिय मां", Priya Maan, Dear Mom, but instead "पूज्य मां", Pujya Maan, Revered Mother. It lacks most of the marks found on most earlier letters, except that it has a small group of pale blue marks in the top left part of the letter whose meaning and import is not clear. The date is written at the top.
Osho informs: he couldn't avoid Shree Rishabhlal and accepted his invitation to visit Bombay for Mahavir Jayanti - during paryushan he had spoken at Bombay that year but nothing happens by speaking for once - people's mind only can catch something by speaking many times.

 रजनीश निवास: प्रभात पूज्य मां,
मैं महावीर जयंती के लिए बंबई के आमंत्रण को स्वीकार कर लिया हूँ। श्री रिषभपाल जी का बहुत आग्रह है, टाल सकना संभव नहीं हुआ है। पर्यूषण में एक बार बंबई इस वर्ष बोला था : एक बार बोलने से तो कुछ होता नहीं है; अनेक बार बोलने से ही लोकमानस कुछ पकड़ता है : इसकारण भी बंबई जाने का तय कर लिया है। बुलढ़ाना चलने का मन था : अब किसी और निमित्त वहां चलने की व्यवस्था कर लेना। चलना वहां जरूर है।

- "I have accepted the invitation for Bombay for the Mahavir Jayanti (2559th birth anniversary Mahavir Swami was on Thursday, March 30, 1961 as per Hindi calendar). It has not been possible to avoid; (as) there is a great insistence of Shree Rishabhpal Ji. This year in the paryushan I had talked for once at Bombay (this year means Diwali to Diwali – Oct/Nov to Oct/Nov as per Hindu calendar – the paryushan festival during that year was from 19-27 August 1960. So Osho might have visited Bombay for a couple of days during 19-27 Aug 1960) : (but) nothing happens by speaking for once - people's mind only can catch something by speaking many times – Because of that too, (I) have decided to visit Bombay. It was desired to go to Buldhana – now you may arrange to go there on some other occasion – it’s necessary to visit there."
