Pratiksha was born in 1964 into the family of Sw Vijay Bharti, Osho's oldest brother. She took sannyas at age 11 and lived in all of Osho's communes.

Out "in the world", she was first a fashion designer, creating clothes for Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Vinod Khanna, Zakir Hussain and many more "big names"; then she "decided to renounce the world of glamour" in favour of painting, for which she has received many awards.

On her site, she quotes Osho: "The more creative you are the more divine you are. To me, creativity is religion. Art is just the entrance to the temple of religion."
