202 Q21
MULLA NASRUDDIN
Meet Mulla Nasruddin

(left joke)
Mulla Nasrudin used to say : "EVERY
MARRIED MAN SHOULD FORGET HIS
MISTAKES, NO USE TWO PEOPLE
REMEMBERING THE SAME THING."

(right joke)
The architect was having a
difficult time with Mulla
Nasrudin, a prospective home builder.
"But can't you give some idea," he pleaded,
"of the general type of house you want
to build, Nasrudin?"
"WELL --" replied the Mulla
hesitantly, "all I know is: it must go
with an antique doorknob my wife
bought the other day."
Note
What do we have here?
The most specific reference suggests the manuscript is part of Meet Mulla Nasruddin, one of the early Joke books.
But the thing is: neitheir of the two jokes are part of that book. Which suggests that the more general tag "MULLA NASRUDDIN" applies. And that tag "202" suggests a link with that other book 202.
In fact, we were not able to find the left joke anywhere in the published texts. We have designated that writing as event Mulla Nasruddin Extra Jokes ~ 01.
The right joke is also not found in any of the joke-books, but is told by Osho, almost literally, in A Sudden Clash of Thunder, ch.3.
