Neti-Neti literally means "not this, not this," and more loosely "neither this nor that." It is used widely and traditionally as the name for a quasi-analytical method of discarding psychic debris, a sort of "via negativa" tool of self-exploration, more particularly, disidentification. More about this can be found at [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neti_neti Wikipedia]. This page is about a four-volume series of books created from some of Osho's early discourses.

The four books are presented in different ways by different sources, and usually not all four together but grouped in varied ways. They are:
:This is that book, created from four of Osho's early series of talks, three of them given at [[Meditation Camps]], plus two single-discourse early booklets. The series are, in chronological order:
:* [[Satya Ki Khoj (सत्य की खोज)]] (dated by different sources as Jan 16-19, 1970 and Feb 25-27, 1969, likely at a meditation camp. Since all sources indicate 5 discourses, the January dates are less likely. Another possibility is that SKK is the title of two different books, one associated with Neti-Neti and the other not.)
:* [[Shunya Ki Naav (शून्य की नाव)]] (dated by only one source, May 2-5, 1968, 7 discourses)
:And the booklets, whose dates are not known, ~ late 60's:
::[[Satya Ke Agyat Sagar Ka Amantran (सत्य के अज्ञात सागर का आमंत्रण)]]
::[[Surya Ki Or Udan (सूर्य की ओर उड़ान)]] |

The reason these four books are so grouped is not clear but the grouping does happen widely. Thematically, the first three are about meditation, sadhana and so on, the last is said to be a Q&A format. The time span is unknown. More info will be needed.

Neti-Neti literally means "not this, not this," and more loosely "neither this nor that." It is used widely and traditionally as the name for a quasi-analytical method of discarding psychic debris and investments, a sort of "via negativa" tool of self-exploration, more particularly, disidentification. More about this can be found at wikipedia:Neti_neti. Osho sprinkles the phrase liberally in both Hindi and English discourses, so a book with this as its title has a lot to live up to.
This is that book, created from four of Osho's early series of talks, three of them given at Meditation Camps, plus two single-discourse early booklets. The series are, in chronological order:
Shunya Ki Naav (शून्य की नाव)
Satya Ki Khoj (सत्य की खोज)
Sambhavnaon Ki Aahat (सम्भावनाओं की आहट)
Shunya Ke Paar (शुन्य के पार)
And the booklets, whose dates are not known, ~ late 60's:
Satya Ke Agyat Sagar Ka Amantran (सत्य के अज्ञात सागर का आमंत्रण)
Surya Ki Or Udan
notes
Order of the parts of Neti-Neti follows the order of the component smaller books as above, as do the chapters within those books. The seventh chapter of Shunya Ki Naav has been omitted from most editions of Neti-Neti, having been lost for years. It is said to have been found for the most recent edition.
Only Satya Ki Khoj and Shunya Ki Naav have been translated into English, the others not.
For a TOC and more on dates, places, alt-titles, sources, etc, see discussion. And though it may not be easy to find in hard copy, Neti-Neti is available in audio and e-book form as Neti-Neti, ie not under the component names.
Ch.12-18 published as Sambhavnaon Ki Aahat
