US citizen. Studied graphic design in New York, came to Pune in the late Seventies. As an ashram resident he worked in the graphic departments of Poona 1 and the Ranch and also worked on some of Osho´s books. Because of his HIV-positive status he was forced in 1985, according to the ignorant rules of the commune, to live with ten others who supposedly tested HIV-positive far away, totally isolated and cut off from the community at the Desiderata area, a residential trailer park.
When the Ranch was closed, he moved to California, worked for Levi Strauss and became a devoted follower of Gangaji.
Bhavo died in 2002.
