He is an authority on the use of quartz crystals, having studied with teachers from a variety of backgrounds ranging from the scientific to the spiritual and shamanic. Rumi has trained as an addictions counselor, massage therapist, and professional rebirther. He is a graduate instructor of the School of Hatha and Raja Yoga of Toronto, Canada, and has participated in informal training in Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Bio-energetics, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and Spirit Releasement® Therapy. He is also a member of the Association to Advance Ethical Hypnosis and the Sound Healers Association.
