Anuragi, Laxmi, Osho and Vivek in Manali dated 17th November 1985

(Jasbir Bindra)

Anuragi took sannyas in January 1982 in Poona and met Osho for the first time in 1985 in Manali. Having worked in the corporate world for over 2 decades, he is now involved in securing and preserving Osho’s work: first edition books, letters, and manuscripts in original, photos, audios/videos and objects used by Osho. He feels it is important that Osho’s work be available in a pure and undiluted form. He is archiving and preserving Osho’s heritage in its physical and digital formats.

Osho Resource Centre (ORC) has been formed to be the custodian of Osho’s digital and printed material. All the audio and video discourses of good quality, books & periodicals (physical and digital), documentaries, music, photos, etc. would be part of ORC. The digital material could be available on request to anyone working on any Osho related projects. The Osho Resource Centre has a complete set of all the first edition books in Hindi and English, and all the periodicals from the mainstream publications. From the first regular publication, Jyotishikha which was published in 1966 to Osho Times 2009, all the copies are available in the archives.

An amazing collection of Osho’s first known publications from 1955 onwards are also part of the comprehensive archives.

A separate foundation, named The Mystic Foundation, is under the process of incorporation, which would be the custodian of Osho’s manuscripts, robes, and other physical items gifted by Osho to His lovers.

Anuragi is a passionate archivist who loves preserving Osho’s works. He is also working on a comprehensive photo biography of Osho (1931-1990).
