(Jayantibhai M. Thakkar)


Born in 1919, Jayantibhai was one of those early perennials who was always known by his pre-sannyas name. Even in Osho's original list for the Inner Circle, he is alone there in having his pre-sannyas name. He was the main organizer for Osho's iconic Mt Abu meditation camps and many events in Gujarat and Rajasthan. He was also Osho's driver for these events, about which Osho tells a great story, reproduced in the Osho News obit, link below.

He took sannyas in 1970 and left his body Nov 22, 2011.
