Teerth is a native of Mexico City and has had a lifelong passion for music, rhythm and drumming. He has lived and traveled all over the world including the United States, Australia, India and Europe.

A graduate of The Percussion Institute of Technology in Los Angeles, CA, Teerth plays drum set, congas, bongos, cajon, clay pot, djembe, timbales and all types of small percussion.

Some of the musicians he has performed with include Andres Condon, Anugama, Armando Manzanero, Atmo, Claudia Villela, Darpan, Deva Premal and Miten, Gary Brown, Gyan Marcos, Kamal, Ken Okulolu, Kit Walker, Lisa Sangita Moskow, Maneesh De Moor, Maniko, Manose, Milarepa, Mirabai, Mucho Axe, Prem Joshua, Praful, Riffat Sultana, Robert Powell, Satchiko, Shana Morrison, Sudhananda, Sukhawat Ali Kahn, and the Orquesta Filarmónica de la Cuidad de México.
