Lakshen is a writer, director and independent film producer.

In 1978 he arrived in India and became a disciple of Osho, taking the name Lakshen.

In the following years he lived and worked at the Poona Ashram and at Rajneeshpuram in the US. In 1984 he returned to Rimini, his hometown in Italy, and opened a discotheque called ‘Zorba the Buddha’.

At the some time he started to write and in 1990 he published the novel ‘Blue Line’. In 1992 he started an independent film company called Navala Productions and produced his first film based on his novel. ‘BLUE LINE’ was presented at the Venezia Film Festival in 1995, it featured Maddalena Fellini, the sister of Federico Fellini and was awarded with ‘The Quality Prize’ by the Italian Ministry of Culture.

His second movie ‘ZORBA IL BUDDHA’, also supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture, was shot in the 2002 and it featured one of the best-known sannyasin kids of Pune One : ‘Little Siddhartha’. The film has been broadcasted on Sky TV and won the prize as ‘Best Spiritual Movie’ at the Goa Spiritual Fest. in 2003.

He is now working on a movie about Osho.
