Delibarations

As free downloads, all ten audios are available in a number of places, but audiobooks for sale are offered only by Osho World and osho.com, and those both have only these four discourses:

प्रवचन (TOC):
1. क्या आपके द्वार खुले हुए हैं?
2. धर्म भय पर खड़ा नहीं हो सकता
3. विश्वास, श्रद्धा और विचार
4. वस्त्र आपकी पहचान तो नहीं?

The bumpf from OW indicates the four talks were given in Surat. The other six? ¿Quien sabe? E-book has no further data but is long and complete, ie ten discourses. -- Sarlo (talk) 20:10, 8 July 2014 (PDT)

Dates and Places info from Jagdish is a bit crowded with info on another series, Talk:Agyat Ki Or (अज्ञात की ओर), but doable. So be it.

1. 28 Jun 1967 am Naginchand, Surat
2. 28 Jun 1967 pm
3. 29 Jun 1967 am
4. 30 Jun 1967 am

All presumed to be in Surat, especially since the bumpf has four talks there and Agyat's talk is. -- doofus-9 06:23, 31 December 2018 (UTC)

To be perfectly clear, the "other series", Agyat, has only one talk at present in this time frame, and it fits decently, without a struggle, on 29 Jun 1967 pm. We now also have partial info from Manuscripts ~ Reports Timeline Extraction#B Sheets (B-1 to B-13V) indicating at least three talks in Surat 28-30 Jun (without specifying titles). It looks like four talks in Surat is pretty believable. About the ten talks, it is certainly more complicated and messier, but there is a source ... See below for more. -- doofus-9 07:14, 24 June 2019 (UTC)

Shifting content in Hindi books (source document) has a good account of the 4/10 discrepancy in this funny series, how each of its chapters are connected to other books. It seems reasonable to accept that the four chapters which remain in Antar are the four above given in Surat, and the others ...

Anand Ki Khoj is mentioned above. Its four chapters are linked in "Shifting content" to the four mentioned of Antar's chapters. And Antar's ch 7 is the same as Satya ch 6, leaving only Antar ch 8, which is the same as Jeevan Ki Kala (जीवन की कला) ch 2, which is available in audio at osho.com. -- doofus-9 07:14, 24 June 2019 (UTC)

Source of date for 7th event is Satya Ka Darshan ch 6.

(.) .... {Osho illustrates by telling a story of a negro who wants meet the God in the church but was denied entry by the priest by telling to become silent and holy 1st. The innocent negro attains to the serenity at the behest of the priest and the God appears to him tells that he himself never been to Church and there is no need either. } (.)
An impartial mind is required, an innocent mind is required, a free and open mind is required. Only that becomes the door, only that becomes the mirror to know oneself. (.)
So the first sutra I want to tell you this morning is: open mind, not closed mind. (.) .......(.) Accept my pranam." (.) Discourse ends.
1. This (AKK #03) is the 1st discourse of the series of proposed upcoming events during 3 days at SURAT. 2. Starting with a story Osho says he would discuss about the basic mistakes happened with man in this morning discourse and how to become free of them in next lectures. 3. Osho narrates a story of his visit to an orphanage where children are never taught how to have an open mind! When asked by the administrator where is the God, children showed their heart by putting their hands on the chest. But when one child is asked by Osho where is the heart then he says they have not been taught about it. 4. In the end Osho concludes that the 1st sutra is the open mind which becomes door / mirror to know oneself. 5. The e-book ch #01 is aptly titled "क्या आपके द्वार खुले हुए हैं? - Kya Apke Dwar Khule Hein? - Whether your doors are opened?"
DELETE CELL : rowspan AKK #04 2. धर्म भय पर खड़ा नहीं हो सकता (Religion can not stand on fear) 28 Jun 1967 pm, Surat 00::00:00 Discourse starts: "My dear Atman! With a small story, I would start this talks of the evening. A very remarkable person appeared in the court (of an emporor). ……(.) I am telling this story because that on the earth, man has believed of so many such things in which there is no other raeson except fear for believing. (.) .... (.) Hence I would say the 1st thing, and I want to talk to you this evening on it - and that is - FEAR. Fear is not the characteristic of a religious man beacause one who is afraid will niether be able to search nor know the truth. (.) .........(.) In the morning I had talked to you about one sutra (formula): awakening of conscience and becoming free from the faith (trust). In the evening I have talked to you about the second sutra: becoming free from the fear and establishing in fearlessness. Regarding some remaining sutras, I will tell you in the upcoming talks. (.) ....(.) In the life of man also some intelligent businessmen are born who have tied pegs on the mind of man so that no man would go outside their circle, their fold. ...... The one who becomes freed from them gets the dignity and pride of the soul - ony he becomes human in the right sense. (.) How can he become a human, I will discuss more on that in the coming 2 days. (.)..... (.) Accept my pranam. (.) Discourse ends. 1. This discourse (AKK #04) is given in the evening of the same day of the preceeding discourse. 2. Osho summarizes this talk by reiterating the 1st sutra of 'awakening of conscience' which he explained in the morning talk and the 2nd sutra of 'establishing in fearlessness' which he explained in this evening's talk. 3. In the end of the discourse he tells that he would explain more in next 2 days about: how a man can become a real human in the right sense by freeing oneself from all pegs of the mind.
DELETE CELL : rowspan AKK #05 3. विश्वास, श्रद्धा और विचार (Faith, Trust and Thought / Thinking) 29 Jun 1967 am, Surat 00::00:00 Discourse starts: "My dear Atman! I have received various questions - many of them are similar. So by distributing them all into few questions it would be easier to discuss them with you. (.) Yesterday I told: faith is not the religion but thoughts and conscience are the religion. Trust is blind and one who is blind can not know the truth. (.) In this regard, various questions have been asked that if we do not keep the trust, if we do not have faith our path would be lost. (.) .... We know very well in life, our feet make us move, our eyes make us see. ... Perhaps the truth is that we do not have a deep urge for knowing God. ...
And what I told you yesterday has only this meaning: we would search for our eyes if there was a deep urge. Thoughts are your eyes, conscience is your eyes - faith is not your eyes, but someone else's. (.) ... Truth can be seen directly - not through any other medium. (.) .... The religion is not a sermon but a treatment on this earth, for those who know. It's a therapy to open the eyes - not to believe, it is to awaken the conscience. (.) ... That's why yesterday I told not the beliefs, but the thoughts. (.) .... The lamp of religion is extinguished not because of materialism, but because the lamp of religion is already extinguished there is materialism. ... The lamp of religion is extinguished because it is filled by water in place of oil - it is filled with faith in place of thoughts and conscience. (.) ... That's why I told you yesterday leave the faith and awaken the conscience. (.) ..... Man can know the God if he disolves himself -
But if he creates God, then neither can he know himself nor can he know the God. The way to find the God is not to create the God but to disolve oneself. (.) We will talk tomorrow morning - that how man may disolve him and he becomes nobody. (.) ..... To be religious is another matter, not so cheap and easy. It is a matter of great revolution. (.) I have discussed about two sutras with you for how that revolution can happen - I will talk about the third sutra tomorrow morning. (.) ..... (.) Accept my pranam. (.) Discourse ends.
1. This (AKK #05) is a 2nd day morning discourse for the questions and answers. 2. Osho groups the various questions asked based on 1st day talk and explains in details with the stories clearing the apprehensions w.r.t. faith, trust, conscience, devotion and religion. 2. He concludes by telling that - he explained 2 sutras regarding how the religion, a great revolution can happen. He would talk about the 3rd sutra on next day morning.
DELETE CELL : rowspan AKK #06 4. वस्त्र आपकी पहचान तो नहीं? (Aren't the Clothes Your Identity?) 30 Jun 1967 am, Surat 00::00:00 Discourse starts: "My dear Atman! I would like to start my talks with a small incident. (.) One king was out on hunting - lost the track in the forest, it was already the night and he got separated from his associates. ..… amidst the forest was a small caravansarai. He stayed there. .... (.) Today morning I want to talk to you sometning about 'what is the weakness of a man?'. And that which is the weakness; is itself the hindrance in the path of the God....(.) Ego is the weakness of a man. Hypocracy, ego is the weakness of a man. 'I am something' is the weakness of a man. (.) ..... (.) In the first day's talk I told you: 'leave the faith and awaken the thoghts'. In the evening's talk I told: 'leave the fear and raise the fearlessness'. And now in the third and final talk I am telling leave the 'I', then whatever is remainder is the real being, that is the truth, that is the God, give any name, it does not make any difference. (.) .... (.) There are two types of mistakes: if the ego is nothing then neither it can be filled nor can it be emptied. Because the one which can be filled only that, can be emptied. .... So what can be done with the ego. The first thing that can be done with it is: 'it can be explored whether it is there or not'. The first thing is: 'it can be known what the ego is'. And the surprise of the big surprises is that: the one who tries to know finds, it's not there (in the first place) (.) ..... (.) One last thing and I would complete my discussion. Where the barrier drops we are connected with all. Where this illusion of my being separate and different drops, there only is the meeting of a drop with the ocean - there only is the meeting of an individual and the existence (whole) (.) ... (.) In today's final talk I have told you to lose such a thing which is really not there. The one who loses that which is not there - finds that which is really there. (.) ... So I give an invitation in the ultimate sense: 'let the drop be lost and become the owner of the ocean'. That ocean is the God. (.) ..... Accept my pranam (.) Discourse ends. 1. This (AKK #06) is a 3rd day morning discourse in which Osho talks about the ego - a human weakness which hinders the path to the Truth, the God. 2. He deliberates that the ego has to be explored - ultimately arriving at a point to know that it's not real but only an illusion. 3. Osho concludes the final talk with an invitation to let the drop (self, ego) be lost and become the ocean - the God.
Osho Rajneesh Agyat Ki Or (अज्ञात की ओर) AKO #01 VDAK: 2. धर्म है बिलकुल वैयक्तिक - 00:00:00 Discourse starts (perhaps the initial address is not recorded): "I would like to start my today's talk with a small incident. In a small village, in one dark night, from one hut great sound started coming out, there is a fire ....." (.) At 00:51:29 Osho says: "To move into search 'who is within'; is religion. To open eyes towards 'what is within'; is religion. How that eye can open - regarding that, I will explain in tomorrow's talk. (.) ..... .......... (.) At 00:55:32 Osho concludes: "All organizations have killed the truth. Religion is absolutely individual - it has no relation to organization, to mass, to association. It is related with every individual's moving into his own conciousness. And how those eyes rise up towards that truth - I will talk to you about that tomorrow. (.) I am very much greatful that my these talks are listened with so much peace and love. God has made all to stand simply together in science - I pray that he can make all to stand together in religion too. My pranam to God within all - accept my pranam." (.) End of discourse. 1. AKO audio #01 matches with the text of VDAK #02. 2. Osho explains about the basic difference between science and religion, their relationship. 3. From the concluding quotes it can be seen that in the next lecture on the following day Osho would further deliberate on 'how to move towards the truth'. 4. OW audio numbers AKO #01 and VDAK #02 are same discourses uploaded under two different sreies AKO and VDAK by oshoworld.com! 5. 'VDAK: 2. धर्म है बिलकुल वैयक्तिक' does not find a place in all three: Shailendra's PDF, OG and OC under the title 'Agyat Ki Or (अज्ञात की ओर)'. 6. Hence it can be inferred that this event is not part of AKO.
DELETE CELL : rowspan AKO #02 1. न भोग, न त्याग - वरन रूपांतरण - 00:00:00 Discourse starts: "Dear atman! I am very much blissed that the talks of my own heart can be shared with you. Bliss increases as much as it gets distributed. (.) .......These two alternative forms of life are encountered by almost every human being. One way to enjoy lusts in life, to drown in them. One way is to run away from them, to turn the back towards them - and these two things are alway in front of us. I would state to you that both these things destroys the life. .… (.) By opening the eyes if someone becomes capable to see the life, then a very different dimension opens up. (.) .... 00:48:07 And closed eaes are the cause of all griefs in the life. (.) How can the eyes be opened? How the eyes can open to the truth of life? (.) First thing, always remember the first sutra: if you search into the life, based on to other's teaching; your eyes can never open. ......... (.) 01:20:25 God is very near. Only eyes are needed which can see. And from where will you bring these eyes which see? What we call sins, wake up towards those very sins and the seeing eyes will be born. And if the seeing eyes are born then the sins will disappear - and what remains is the God. (.) I am very much greatful that my these talks are listened with so much peace and love. And I am offering pranam to God within all - accept my pranam." (.) End of discourse. 1. This talk (AKO #02) appears to be the 1st event of AKO. 2. Apperently there is no relation with any of AKK's 4 discourses (given at Surat).
DELETE CELL : rowspan AKO #03 2. धर्म की सही शिक्षा (Right Education of the Religion) am 00:00:00 Discourse starts (perhaps the initial address is not recorded): "Before I say something to you on 'धर्म और शिक्षा (dharm aur shiksha) - religion and education' I would like to start my talk with a small story. One sufi fakir (saint) slept one night, before sleeping he had one prayer in the mind, he had desire to have darshan of the God..... (.)" {The subjects covered are faith, trust, various so called religious teachings without any scientific approach, developing aptitude for conscience, courage, fearlessness, making the real religious teaching universal for freeing the man, etc. These are explained with the help of stories highlighting the deplorable situation created by the imposed blind belief systems world over. The story Osho's visit to the orpahanage is repeated in this talk.} 01:03:04 Before concluding Osho says: "One who moves with such adventure, with such courage, with such self confidence; one day he definitely attains to that which is worth attaining. I will talk something more about 'how we can attain that', in the evening. (.) I am very much greatful that my talks are listened with such peace and love. And I am offering pranam to God within all - accept my pranam." (.) End of discourse. 1. The subjects covered in this talk (AKO #03) are very much simialar with that of the two discourses AKK #03 and #04 - both combined. 2. Before concluding, Osho informs that he will explain 'how to attain to that which is really worth' in details in the evening talk. 3. Hence it can be inferred that AKO #03 is given in the morning or around noon. 4. It's more likely to be around noon of 29 Jun 1967 (at Surat) preceeding the next discourse on the same day evening - as we already have a AKK # 05 in the morning of same date at Surat - making three talks in this date!.
DELETE CELL : rowspan AKO #04 3. चित्त को बदलने की कीमिया 29 Jun 1967 pm, Lions Club, Surat 00:00:00 Discourse starts (perhaps the initial address is not recorded): "I am very much blissed that the talks of my own heart can be shared with you, this evening. Just it has been told that this time is full of darkness and this age is of downfall, it is of 'भौतिकवाद (bhautikvad) and materialism. (.) First of all let me state this thing is very much incorrect, this thing is false..... (.) 00:08:05 "This is not a mistake of any age - this is the result of a kind of mind the man has. And until we understand the alchemy, trick, process of changing the mind of a man - and until we do not cure to change the human conciousness; the darkness will remain on the earth. (.) 00:44:01 Hence this evening I would only say: suppressive (negative) policy is meaningless - not only meaningless but useless - not only useless but fatal..... Tomorrow morning I will talk on constitutive (positive) relegion. Tomorrow morning, I will discuss 'what is religion' - now I am saying whatever is the policy; it's not favorable. (.) ........ (.) 00:48:34 Our all non-violence and all love and all truth are borrowed and purchased from the market.... their roots have not grown from the religion's soul. That's why how can we catch the roots of religion, roots of life, how can we water those roots within us - that I won't be talking now, that I leave it for tomorrow morning..... (.) Accept my pranam." (.) Discourse ends. 1. It seems that this lecture (AKO #04) is the 3rd in the series given in the evening of the same day of the preceeding 'AKO #03'; as per the starting line by Osho. 2. There is a similarity in this talk with AKK #05 as in both these talks Osho has deliberated on the same subjects of Materialism, Darkness and Religion. 3. From the concluding talk it's seen that Osho would be deliberating more on 'what is religion' in continuation; in the morning of the next day.
DELETE CELL : rowspan AKO #05 4. विज्ञान और धर्म में कोई विरोध नहीं - 00:00:00 {The starting talk of about a minute not clearly audible - Osho says: "I have received many questions …. I wish to answer them all but it's not possible. Still I will try to explain such that, you can make out what could be the answers for those left out questions."} This is not included in the text which starts: "One friend has asked how the relevance can be established between science and religion. (.) The relevance may be established among those who have a strife. There is no strife between religion and science. (.) ....{Osho tells the same story of a negro wanting to enter the church but was denied entry by the priest.... in similar lines with AKK #01; to explain that the row is not of the God but it's created by the shops in the name of the God for thousands of years...trying to keep the man's eyes closed... because if the eyes open up then there could be no exploitation in the name of religion.} ...... (.) 01:00:28 Questions are still many but it will be difficult to reply to any more questions - I will tell a small thing and complete my talk. ........ (.)" 01:05:39 "In the end I say only this - till now we have tried keeping the religion and science separated, kept the body and soul separated; now it can't prolong - we have to try joining them together. (.) ....................... (.) I will come sometime again to you. Will discuss about many of your questions, those remained. By then there would be some new questions. For those questions which are left out I ask for forgiveness - whose questions are left out. (.) You have listened to my talks with such love - for that lots of thanks. (.) In the end I offer my pranam to God within all. Accept my pranam. (.) Discourse ends. 1. This discourse (AKO #05) is for the questions and answers - date and place not known for it. 2. The talk has some similarity with AKK. 2. While concluding this talk it can be seen that Osho seeks forgiveness for the questions which reamined unanswered and agrees to discuss them when he comes later. 3. This implies that talks organized at this place come to the end. 3. Hence the succeeding two lectures here, may not be sequential talks.
DELETE CELL : rowspan AKO #06 Amrit Varsha 6. अपने अज्ञान का स्वीकार 1965, Lions Club International, Poona 00:00:00 Some initial talk is not been recorded. Discourse bigins by Osho's voice saying: "…..from the very childhood it was heard that there is one town on the earth where all the people are religigious. …… (.) I want to start my talk whith this story because the man has been crippled by the so called form of the religions on whole of the earth. ..... I tell only this, that the religion could not be born untill now. .... All beliefs are taught. But every one is born with thoughts. Thoughts take us to the God and beliefs to the priests. ..... If we see in these countries where influence of trust prevailed, the science could not be born and can not be born in future too. .... Following of others is the deepest of deep dependency - I myself abide to others - other becomes ideal for me. ....(.) In the end I would state: there are two bonds of man in a deeper sense - of faith and of following - the person who frees himself from these bonds is stepping towards truth...... (.) So in this my first discussion I have tried to break some things, to separate some things so that you become ready for those talks - I call them seeds.... (.) 00:54:45 One last story and I will complete my talk." {The story in short: - A famous blacksmith gets shaclked along with other 99 big people of Rome and thrown into the forest by the enemies. The smith finds those shackles were made by himself and it was rather very difficult to get freed from them as there was no weaker link to break open.} While conculding Osho says: "The condition of that smith became such - as is experienced almost same by every person who wakes up and looks at his own shaclkes. But that smith reached back home in the evening. How he reached home, that I will talk to you in the night. (.) I am very grateful for listening to my talks with such love and peace. I offer my pranam to the God within all, in the end. Accept my pranam." (.) Discourse ends. 1. As per OW audio AKO #05 above, the series of the talks preceeded comes to end. 2. From this OW audio AKO #06 (अपने अज्ञान का स्वीकार - Apane Agyan Ka Sveekar - Accepatance of Own Ignorance" - it can be seen that it is a first discussion (talk) of perhaps a new series of talks (place and date of even to be confirmed) as Osho observs: "So in this my first discussion I have tried to break some things, ..." 3. In Amrit Varsha #05 (धर्म की यात्रा - Dharm Ki Yatra - Journey of Religion) Osho says: “Hence in the morning talk I want to state - again in the three upcoming discussions I can have detailed talk on that....." This indicates there should be 3 more talks (#06, #07 & #08) in continuation. 4. In this OW audio AKO #06 (published as Amrit Varsha #06) - Osho observes in the end "How he (the blacksmith) reached home, that I will talk to you in the night." This indicates that the next continuous talk would be in the night of the same date and at same place. 5. OW audio AKO #06 (अपने अज्ञान का स्वीकार) appears same as Amrit Varsha #06 in all three: Shailendra's PDF, OG and OC. But this audio is not found in OW Site: https://www.oshoworld.com/discourses/audio_hindi.asp?album_id=146

A big crowd had gathered at the doors of a king's palace. ...(.) Man's mind is made such that - it never gets filled. And man's very chase to fill the mind is sansara (world). And to know this truth that mind gets never filled, is the begining of religion. ... In ten thousand years, if any experience has become unexceptionable for a man, it is that those who searched outside found nothing.... And the other thing is so much unexceptionably true that none of the person who has searched within is like the one, who might have said that 'I searched within and didn't find. (.) If something can be called scientific truth, something can be called 'वैज्ञानिक सत्य - Vaigyanik Satya', then this is it. Because there is no exception to it, no 'अपवाद - Apvad' is there. It's universal, it's 'सार्वलौकिक - Sarvalaukik'. It has been proved in the history of all human beings in the universe that - no meaning could be found outside. (.) 01:02:33 In this small talk (discussion) I have told you only one thing, only a small sutra (formula, rule) : look at the life with open eyes, observe, then the futility of the outside can be seen. And if the futility of the outside becomes visible, then the eyes arrive at the signification of the inner at once. .....(.) In the end I would pray: the God may bring out the fragrance and the truth and the music from your innerness. (.) I am very grateful for listening to my talks with such love and peace. I offer my pranam to the God within all, in the end. Accept my pranam." (.) Discourse ends. 1. This discourse doesn't seem to have a continuity with the preceeding OW audio AKO #06. 2. OG has titled these talks as 'अज्ञात की ओर-(विविध)'; विविध means various. So the book is a collection of various - different talks.
