I have less resources for research than you, but i can comment . . .
1. There is a small error from you: the comment on ch 3 should go with ch 4, not ch 3.
2. But that is small compared to the apparent vast wasteland of D&P misinfo from the 1980 RF edition:
a) Ch 4 and 5 dates are indeed in conflict, not only with reasonably solid and full info in the Timeline but also these chapters are supposedly the same as ''Prabhu Mandir'' 9 & 10, on 9 and 10 Jun afternoons.
b) Ch 2-3 dates are highly unlikely, given already two talks for ''Prabhu Mandir'' on 8 Jun.
c) Ch 6 date is impossible as you point out. Given the apparently dismal record so far for other chapters in the '80 RF, it may be grasping at straws to say maybe the day is right, just the wrong year. There is no reason to suppose that any part of it is right, except that, maybe, the 1969 Timeline does have room for a talk in Rajkot on Dec 24 1969. But let's not be attached to that possibility.
d) This leaves ch 1 with a reasonable possibility. Not much to brag about.
3. OTOH Oshoganga . . . 9-13 Jun is not so unreasonable. 9 & 10 already agree with ''Prabhu Mandir'', just in wrong order. How about . . . well, now that i'm looking at Oshoganga, it's actually 7-13 Jun, specifically ch 1-5 on 7-11 Jun one per day in that order, and ch 6 on 13 Jun. Since the Timeline has Osho back in Mumbai on 12 Jun and after that is open, ch 6 on 13 Jun could be anywhere. This looks relatively smooth but does not play well with the two ''Prabhbu Mandir'' chapters, which are not ''Cheti'' 3 and 4, which would be nice, but 4 and 5. And 4 and 5 are fairly well established, yes? Per Shailendra and Dilip? So there are also a few screws loose in the Oshoganga model.
So i would say we still don't know. All explanations and theories have major problems, and to take a bit from here and a bit from there risks making a house of cards. Oshoganga's source is what? Possibly the first two chapters from the RF 1980 edition and then full speed ahead after ch 2? Doesn't look very sound. That they agree on the first two chapters may be tempting but would have worked much better if either could have synched with ''Prabhu Mandir's'' two chapters. As it is, it's an uphill struggle for both.
Re ch 6 info, it actually says "talk with workers" in the 1980 RF? I looked at ''[[Anant Ki Pukar (अनंत की पुकार)]]'' for inspiration but did not find any, so no help there but it may be a useful clue one fine day, and a talk with workers on 13 Jun in Mumbai may work. -0- doofus-9 20:33, 5 May 2020 (UTC)

Deliberations, old and new

Source for the date and place info is Neeten's Osho Source Book (Appendix page). There is no indication in the range of dates given how the discourses are apportioned between Vadodara and Ahmedabad. Chances are decent that a few happened in one place at the beginning of the ten days, with the rest of the talks at the end, at the other place.

A few themes and variations have turned up in the pursuit of data relating to this book. As has often been the case, an "ai" vowel inflection ( ै) has got transliterated as "e," in सकै ==> Sake. But since so few relevant sites use anything but Sake relating to this book, Sake it is. And mysteriously, the title is sometimes rendered as Cheti Sake To Chet, but searching for such only ends up missing the much more common (and correct, fwiw) title above.

In the world of editions, lots of variable data. As often, the OMI edition is occasionally attributed to Rebel. The Diamond edition(s) are where variety rules. Three years, 2003, 2005 and 2011, were found, two cover images, and even two ISBN13s, 9788128803826 and 9788128803825. The latter was found plenty of times while searching for the title, not least at Diamond's own page, but not once when searching directly by ISBN. There was not enough consistency of year and cover matching up to identify particular editions with any confidence. -- updated doofus-9 (talk) 05:56, 25 April 2015 (UTC)

Meanwhile, looking at audiobooks on offer for this book, we find information indicating the number of discourses has been wrong up to now. Osho.com's offering mentions eight talks rather than the six in the book, although they say the eighth is unavailable. Still, we have to go with that, as the titles for the seven they do have include one offered in Osho World's audiobook and not in the Diamond book. OW also has only six talks but they are missing the 7th, while Diamond is missing the 5th. Many of o.com's titles acknowledge sound issues but #5 is intact, so why Diamond left it out is a mystery. -- doofus-9 16:49, 19 February 2017 (UTC)

Article page indicated a range of 6-8 discourses for Cheti, but no source can be found which suggests there was ever an eighth discourse, so that has been edited down to 6-7. 8th will be removed from Timeline. -- doofus-9 18:25, 25 January 2019 (UTC)

The 1980 Rajneesh Foundation edition was added on the basis of the recent publications list of Rahiman Dhaga Prem Ka (रहिमन धागा प्रेम का), published in July 1980. In that list, it was referred to as a "pocket edition". -- doofus-9 18:31, 12 November 2017 (UTC)

Dates provided by 1980 RF edition:

Ch.1 Nadiyad, 7 Jun 1969
Ch.2 Ahmedabad, 8 Jun 1969
Ch.3 Ahmedabad, 8 Jun 1969 = Prabhu Mandir Ke Dwar Par ch.9 but with date 9 Jun 1969 om
Ch.4 Baroda, 17 Aug 1969
Ch.5 Ahmedabad, 18 Aug 1969
Ch.6 talk with workers, Rajkot, 24 Dec 1967

Wiki already met with some errors in dates in printed books before and i think this is the same case where at least dates of ch.3 and 6 and incorrect. Source of 9 Jun is Jagdish for Prabhu series, which looks solid as 8 main events and two additional (see Talk:Prabhu Mandir Ke Dwar Par (प्रभु मंदिर के द्वार पर)) in afternoon of 9th and 10th of June. 8 Jun of ch.2 does not have conflict with Prabhu series, which was given 8-11 June if we put this date in afternoon like other afternoon talks in next two days.

17 and 18 Aug have conflicts in dates in Timeline. Sarlo, please try to research.

Unlikely that the date for event mentioned in ch.6 (1980 ed.) is 24 Dec 1967, because Osho given talks to workers in Lonavala (Maharashtra) 23-25 Dec 1967. Maybe incorrect year? Meant 1969?

Oshoganga gives 9-13 Jun. How all of these related?--DhyanAntar 05:08, 3 May 2020 (UTC)

I have less resources for research than you, but i can comment . . .
1. There is a small error from you: the comment on ch 3 should go with ch 4, not ch 3.

So summing up for the audio situation:

 • OW has 6 audios,
 • Shailendra has 7 audios, these are the audios from osho.com.
 • The PDF (text) from Shailendra has 6 chapters. We do not know on which book-edition this has been based.
 • osho.com mentions 8 audios (of which "0" is unavailable, or maybe that is just a title, with a stray "0"?) :
0: Cheti Sake To Cheti - चेति सकै तो चेति
1: चिंतन की स्वतंत्रता -- Beginning missing 62
2: प्राचीन से नवीन 21
3: धर्म की क्रांति 75
4: धर्म और चिंतन -- Sound dropouts and some questions not recorded 73
5: जीवन है द्वार 53
6: खोलो नए ऊर्जा द्वार -- Sound dropouts 44
7: अश्लीलता : नैतिकता का फल -- Many questions not recorded 72

So here, it is unknown which audio belongs to which chapter/event. To be researched. --Sugit (talk) 13:42, 2 December 2018 (UTC)

Dilip Sodha has compared the audio with the available texts.
Conclusions:
1: CSTC discourses 1 to 6 of OW match perfectly with the PDF text book sent by Sw Sugit.
2: Recording of the discourses is OK as far as Osho's talking is concerned, but there seems be no proper arrangement for recording with a separate mic for questioners in audience. That's why many questions are not recorded at all and others are faintly audible. Yes we can make them out based on Osho's response or from the PDF text.
3. Locations and dates of the discourses can not be ascertained from the audio talks.
4. Studied images uploaded on the CSTC book page - the observations are recorded in the next table.
5: osho.com online library text matches well with the discourses 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7. OC audio #05 is mis-match. All discourses start with music followed by an announcement of Discourse number. All end with music and announcement for their copyright.
6: Osho Ganga text transcriptions seem to be almost correct, with some typos. The content match with all six discourses of CSTC well. Locations of all six discourses are shown as Baroda - Ahmedabad and dates are 7 to 13 June 1969. However Osho Timeline 1969 shows the dates 7 to 17 Aug 1969.

#01 #01 1. चिंतन की स्वतंत्रता
Chintan Ki Swatantrata
(Freedom of Thinking / Thought Process)
2 00:00:00 Discourse starts: "My dear Atman! I will tell my point by just a small story. (.) There was a very old village. And even older than the village, a church was there in that village. Nether any devotee was going inside that church to pray nor anyone else was going inside.... Not even going inside, people were afraid to pass from it's near by. That church could fall any time. ……......…. (.) The bold text of the starting address by Osho do not seem to have been recorded in both the taps of OW and OC. The discourse #01 starts from 'And even older than the village....' The erased lines are reproduced from the PDF. nil 1. चिंतन की स्वतंत्रता

7 00:22:12 Monkeys are always in search of cap if that is found somewhere, put it and climb. Monkeys are in this very search that they find just a cap and put it and climb and sit up on the tree. The tree may be of Delhi or may be of Ahmedabad, it doesn't make any difference. There are small trees, big trees are there, various types of trees are there. There are trees of Ahmedabad, there are trees of Delhi. But if the cap is found then someone would climb up. Those monkeys climbed up after putting the cap. (.) 00:22:42 From this part of the speech it may be inferred that the discourse is given at Ahmedabad. nil
18 You have listened to my talks with such love and peace, in this difficulty and trouble; hence I am very much grateful. And in the end I am offering pranam to the God within you all. Accept my pranam. (.) 01:01:04 (discourse ends) It appears that there was some kind of unrest in the city, around the day of discourse #01. nil
#02 #02 2. प्राचीन से नवीन
Prachin Se Navin
(Ancient to Modern)
19 00:00:00 Discourse starts after a some kind of a short and quick introductory announcement in English for some Chairman of local body who stands up to present the question: "Osho (Acharya Ji), it is very much understood (clear) from your speech that, like what something should be done. But how should it be done? And especially not on basis of an individual but at the level of a community - at the level of a society, you (please) explain in detail." (.) ........ PDF book has replaced Acharya Ji by Osho. Acharya Ji is deleted. 2. प्राचीन से नवीन

22 00:12:04 Osho starts responding to subsequent question which has not been recorded in audio of OW and OC. The PDF book notes that: "प्रश्न का ध्वनि-मुद्रण स्पष्ट नहीं। - audio recording of the question is not clear. (.) ……. nil nil
22 00:19:54 "So I am not even telling it now - and making total effort to create doubt even in me……… (.) Would come again for two or three days - arrange something - so that we can talk on all the points in complete details." (.) It seems that Osho is telling something to some one off-mic. And some other person is addressing him from audience as 'Acharya Shree' perhaps to ask further question but the audio ends there at 00:20:29. (.) Discourse ends. Acharya Shree is deleted.
#03 #03 3. धर्म की क्रांति
(Revolution of Religion)
25 00:00:00 A questioner: "Saibaba had come last year and our governor and chief minister had also attended that (program). And it's heard that wife of the prime minister was given one 'tabij' (a sacred thread). I want to know from you whether there is any relation between the miracles and spiritualism?" Osho responds: "There is one relation between spiritualism and miracle - that relation is of opposition. A spiritual person will not agree for a miracle - that's the relation. ……......…. (.)" 01:15:05 Discourse starts abruptly by a question. It becomes almost an interactive debate on the basis of arguments raised - Osho defies and explains his vision. At few places Osho is addressed as Rajneesh Ji and at some, as Acharya Ji. Acharya Ji is deleted. However 'Rajneesh Ji' remains - might be unnoticed. 3. धर्म की क्रांति
link to osho.com
प्रवचन-तीसरा-(धर्म की क्रांति)
link to oshoganga
50 01:15:13 A question has not been recorded or perhaps it got erased or is unclear. Osho's response is heard: "So many things have got accumulated in the mind of India that unless some fire is caught quickly ……………… My mind is not destructive - my mind is creative only - but destruction is inevitable. And without talking about it we can not proceed in the direction of creation." 01:18:33 Discourse ends. In the end the organizer offers vote of thanks to Acharya Rajneesh Ji for sparing is time late in the evening and expressing his valuable views. This whole part is deleted from the OC Audio
#04 #04 4. धर्म और चिंतन
(Religion and Thinking)
52 - 73 00:00:00 Discourse starts: "Buddha has told one story of his past life. …………………. (.) Go through doubt completely so that not a single thing remained beyond doubt. Even the doubt didn't remain beyond doubt. (.) 01:12:41 Discourse ends. Here too the discourse becomes an interactive debate. Many questions and arguments are raised which are not clearly audible. Osho responds to all - defiant and persuasive - explains his vision clearly. nil 4. धर्म है चिंतन

(Open New Energy Doors)
74 - 90 00:00:00 OW Audio #05 starts: "Any work is causing tension, any work is causing boredom. Work is not a problem. How do we perform the work is an issue. …….. (.) .............. Next time arrange a complete a series on celibacy only - four lectures and four talks on question-answer would be sufficient." (.) 00:43:08 The discourse ends. After this point we can hear people debating with Osho but recording is not clear - it's noisy until the tap ends. 00:43:48 One more discourse turns into an interactive debate and more argumentative from the audience side - the questions are not audible clearly. Osho shared his understanding clearly. nil 6. खोलो नये उर्जा द्वार

#06 #07 6. अश्लीलता: नैतिकता का फल
(Obscenity: Product of Morality)
91 - 110 00:00:00 OW Audio #06 starts with a question: "The question is, obscene content are presented in pictures and posters...........….." (.) Last question summarized by Osho is: "That friend is asking what is the difference between 'विचार-thought', and 'दर्शन-intuition'. Second thing he is asking that I am calling sex as a central experience and by it's resolution most of things would be resolved - did this become visible to me later or was it there in the mind from the beginning." Osho deliberates it curtly and concludes: "This question (of sex) remains at the center of all the people. That is in my mind from the beginning but as and when the matter comes up - because it's difficult to start it and there are all attempts to stop - so as far as you are ready I am talking (on sex) - and then stop it. Again when opportunity come I have to talk (on sex). Still this is in my mind always." 01:11:31 The discourse ends. A good interactive talk without any arguments. The apprehensions raised are apparently being recorded through the mic in front of Osho - So the questions are heard faintly. Few questions are not been recorded. Over all a clear talk compared to the previous talks. Series ends. - 7. अश्लीलता: नैतिकता का फल

Dilip Sodha has also researched the available book-page images of Cheti Sake To Cheti (चेति सकै तो चेति).
Conclusions:
1: CSTC OW Audio 1 to 6 (except 3) of OW match well with the images of July 1980 edition in the book page in SW. OW Audio 3 is not included in this first edition.
2: The relevance of inclusion of Ch. 6 as compiled in this edition, is not understood. A short conversation held at Rajkot on 24 Dec 1967 is what it contains.
