TOC to be made

A table with chapter titles, location, date, verbatim as in the book to be added here. Also, the links with Meditation: The Art of Ecstasy. It's on the todo list. --Sugit (talk) 10:15, 13 August 2018 (UTC)

The Appendices (each paragraph of them, except #1 - I do not have access to that magazine) have been checked with sources. The info is specified in the TOC.

We do not show dates and media status for excerpts, extracts and other small parts of discourses. The complete info is only shown for whole events (presented in a book). --DhyanAntar 08:49, 16 June 2019 (UTC)

Sugit, about what verbatim, ch-titles, dates did you talk? It is TOC?, which in last year was not available on wiki.

As i have now this book, maybe i will be able bring your idea into life?--DhyanAntar 06:29, 17 June 2019 (UTC)

I meant a TOC with also those descriptions given at the start of each chapter. Would be nice to add, somehow to column chapter titles or events, whatever looks best. --Sugit (talk) 15:20, 17 June 2019 (UTC)

All of the discussion above has been resolved by fine TOCs: Dynamics of Meditation#table of contents and Meditation: The Art of Ecstasy#table of contents. --Sugit (talk) 09:28, 3 November 2019 (UTC)

Ch. 8 and 9 one event?

What reasons are for combining ch.8 and 9 as one event Dynamics of Meditation ~ 08?

They have the same description, incl. interviewer and date. But in the book these are two separated chapters. Number of words in ch.8 - 7268, in ch.9 - 3973.

Ch.1: 8138 words.
Ch.2: 2940
Ch.3: 6207
Ch.4: 5138
Ch.5: 5129
Ch.6: 7493
Ch.7: 6803
Ch.8: 7268
Ch.9: 3939
Ch.10: 5105
Ch.11: 6231
Ch.12: 6676

Above numbers show that second interview was smallest, so it is possible that ch.9 contains text of own interview on the same date as previous interview (ch.8). Other possibility is incorrect description either in ch.8 or in ch.9.--DhyanAntar 08:14, 30 October 2019 (UTC)

I made this assumption that 8 and 9 are one event based on the identical description in the book. I agree with Antar that this is not 100% certain.

But it seems very likely:

  1. It would be unlikely that there were 2 separate interviews on one date with the same interviewer.
  2. The first question of ch.9, "prana", can indeed be seen as a continuation of ch.8.
  3. So until some kind of evidence turns up that there has been an error in the description, I think there is no need to assume two events.
