Source for the alternative view on the non-outcomes of the (non-)hearings in this case is an email from Videh and Chidananda. They wrote:

About the TM case in India, our lawyer said that OIF's appeal has not yet been officially accepted by the TM office, hence there are no hearings.
Our petition has been accepted but not officially. Once OIF's appeal is accepted, we will have a hearing. But at this point, we think that the TM office will not accept OIF's appeal. We just have to wait and see. In India, when the administrative offices make a decision once (in OIF's case, it was first rejected), it is difficult for them to go back - on top of that there is our petition which has a good chance to block it anyway.
