Talk:Jo Bole To Harikatha (जो बोलैं तो हरिकथा)

Some notes about transliteration: बोलैं is what is on the cover, which should be Bolain, but that's used hardly anywhere. Bolein finds most pages, but so do Bolen and Bole, and since Bole is the one actually used in by far the most pages, it gets the nod, even though the farthest from correct (assuming the cover to be correct). Perhaps in a quixotic attempt to reduce the disconnect between the Roman and Devanagari characters, osho.com uses Bole, but changes the बोलैं to बोले to go with it. Now this is at least internally consistent, which does have its merits, but is sadly out of synch with the cover and the rest of the world, so no cigar.

And while we're here quibbling, a teensy-weensy one about one of the words in the subtitle: विरक्ति, virakti. Somehow on the cover they have a slightly different way of writing that in DN which i am unable to replicate here. Fortunately, the whole subtitle was given as a book description somewhere, so i could just copy that rather than struggling with the cover version.

And a small note about Chinmaya editing the 2010 edition. It is highly likely he actually edited the original -- he is an ancient editor and would hardly have been working just for Hind -- but confirming data were not found, so we'll leave it off. -- Sarlo (talk) 21:20, 23 June 2014 (PDT)
