Shailendra about addressee Vijay:

"My guesswork is as below-
"मोतीलाल जैन ‘विजय’ Motilal Jain "Vijay" is sometimes called as Motilal jain only when he was studying B.Sc first year (1958) Then B.A. final year (1960) in the city of Raipur and then "Vijay" added as a second name (poets and writers usually do so in India) osho could not attend his marriage in 1962, and then in 1963, he organized Osho's speech in the city of Katni.
"Osho was posted in Raipur college during 1957-58, Motilal jain was a student there, changed his subject from Science to Arts (Many students find B.Sc. difficult, and change to B.A. which is easier). After graduating he became a poet, returned back to his hometown in Katni, married, and organized Osho's public talk a year later. Katni is about one hour away from Jabalpur by train. Osho wrote that he will return back to Jabalpur the same night.

It is good to add that he is called "Shree Motilal Jain 'Vijay'" in Letter written on 10 Oct 1963. However, that letter addressed also to another Vijay. I will leave the addressee as it is for now.--DhyanAntar 03:27, 8 May 2022 (UTC)

Shailendra asked a person who gave him this and some another letters and it is confirmed that Vijay here is Motilal Jain.--DhyanAntar 17:26, 8 May 2022 (UTC)

And he is not Lala Motilal Jain, the founder of the major Indological publishing house Motilal Banarsidass.
"The letters I sent you recently, which are written to Motilal Jain / Motilal Jain Vijay, / Vijay -- is a different person, a student in Raipur college. Lala Motilal Jain is a different person." = Shailendra (email, 15-05-2022).
