what is the point of this page ? why not link the letters from Kusum's page and the letters-table in Manuscripts?? --Rudra 22:51, 29 October 2019 (UTC)

To tell you the truth, i forgot about the Manuscripts letters-table, so i'll enter them there too, though not much can be said about the details of any of Kusum's letters. As for linking to individual letters from Kusum's page, there are so many letters that they would bloat Kusum's page. Yet they should have some dedicated index page where they are collected besides the Manuscripts letters-table, so that visitors can appreciate their collectivity. She is not exactly alone in having that many letters, but there are few. We should probably do the same for Anandmayee too when we get around to her. Others we don't have manuscripts for, so it doesn't arise.

Another reason to do this for Kusum is that Kapil is a part of it. The letters are not addressed to him, except for one, but he is mentioned in all. And she is a part of the letter addressed to him. They are in some ways a unit, though this is not reflected on their individual pages.

And i don't see any harm in having a directory for their letters and just their letters. Is there a downside to this? The great mother ship Wikipedia creates separate pages to organise and present collected information separate from the individuals who are associated with the material. For example, the discographies of hundreds of musicians' pages: there will be a partial discography on the musician's personal page plus a link to a separate page for the full, detailed discography. Is this any different in principle? -- doofus-9 04:55, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
