Talk:Mon chemin, le chemin des nuages blancs

I understand that each language may have its conventions regarding formats used in titling. So seeing this title here, i might be willing to accept that this is how they do it in French. But the cover image says differently. It puts caps in all the places they might appear in English, leaving out only the le, des and presumably others of their kind. So why is it changed, ie all the words lower-cased except the first word?

And why is "Blancs" not a plural form as it is in the cover image? As it should be in proper French? -- doofus-9 (talk) 05:04, 25 September 2015 (UTC)

please refer to this WP article :

La règle générale dit que, pour un titre d'œuvre ou de périodique, les règles applicables aux noms propres s'appliquent et que les mots autres que les noms propres ne prennent une majuscule que s'ils sont le premier mot du titre.

basically, i use the "Simplified version for books and mags : the only thing that is cap'ed are names and the first word.

Traditional French cap'ing is a dogs breakfast that i'm not prepared to eat. --Rudra (talk) 01:29, 26 September 2015 (UTC)
