About the "quite bizarre format" of Rajneesh Foundation's earlier editions, this may not be entirely fair. The first volume, combining the first two volumes of Alpha-Omega, was published in Apr 1979, then no others followed, until Dec 1980. Energies were evidently diverted from the project, and when they came back, perhaps "in the moment", a different format was deemed best.

But still, besides the mid-stream format change, they did create an inexplicable bump in the numbering, with Bhag 1-2 being the first twenty, and the next twenty starting at Bhag 5, as if "Bhag 1-2" had actually been Bhags 1-4. And then the project seems to have got abandoned again, as no mention of subsequent Bhags can be found in the various (many) Hindi Books in Print Lists that have turned up.

It wasn't until the 90s that the ashram commune resort publishers returned to this series, and then it was Rebel's turn. They went back to the apparently originally intended format of 5x20 and there it stayed, with Fusion following up in the same format. -- doofus-9 03:33, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
