Talk:Samaysar (समयसार)

The wiki page for this book Samaysar started life as a "book on Osho". Along the way, it grew to have a subtitle, "ओशो की प्रिय पुस्‍तकें (Osho Ki Priy Pustaken)", which is not seen anywhere on the cover, and then that supposed subtitle was taken as a publisher, a comedy of assumptions.

These assumptions seem to have arisen from what can actually be found in the blog of Oshoganga / Oshosatsang / Oshostsang, three names for the same blogger who writes extensively about Osho's words. He writes about Acharya Kund Kund, and supplies a Hindi translation of Osho's words from Books I Have Loved. And that is all.

So this book is NOT on or about Osho at all, it would seem. The blog post on this book is the only place which connects Osho with this book, and this blog is also the source of "ओशो की प्रिय पुस्‍तकें (Osho Ki Priy Pustaken)". This phrase arises from the blog author's series of posts on the books Osho speaks on in Books I Have Loved. So i have removed this page from all the sanbook-type categories it was in.

It might be interesting to have a category for all these books, but it may take a while for someone to get to it. The blog author covered only 68 of them before he gave up in 2019. I have started with a link to such a category fwiw. And what higher category that might belong in is also a bit of a mystery. -- doofus-9 22:17, 5 April 2022 (UTC)
