:"Informal Talks, 6 talks, 18.08.69-20.08.69". It seems that at least the 2 of them in Ahmedabad 19 & 20 Aug can be a part of these six. Btw, this list is accurate enough.
:Also "Intimate & Informal talks, 3 talks 14.09.69-15.09.69" can be ch 3-5 of the e-book in Bombay. This approximately confirms other sources (except for 15-vs-14 for the last one) for ''Kshan''. The sources previously placing Osho in Kashmir on these dates for some R&R before the Mahaveer camp are now seen as wrong, especially given that even the conflict re difficult travel times to get there from Mumbai is resolved, by [[Letter written on 24 Aug 1969|a letter]] to [[Ma Kusum Bharti|Kusum]] indicating he will be flying and she should meet him in Srinagar airport on 1 pm on the 17th. The 14-vs-15 for the last one (or two) still needs to be resolved.

Revision as of 22:20, 13 June 2020

There are a variety of offerings of this book in the different formats, all with different results. One source, a blog, quotes from this book and dates it Sep 14, 1969 in Mumbai but this is suspect, since both Gyan Bhed and Neeten's Osho Source Book place Osho in Kashmir at that time. (See Talk:Mahaveer: Meri Drishti Mein (महावीर : मेरी दृष्टि में) for details.) OTOH the e-book dates no less than three of its chapters, one very long and two very short, to that very day in Mumbai. There may be an error somewhere. FWIW the Aug dates have been entered in the Timeline as such, with four other discourses dated only 1969, all provisionally.

Anyway, the various offerings, first the OW e-book, with dates and places and the page numbers where found, then a comparison:

Ch.1 -- Ahmedabad 19 Aug 1969 (p 19)
Ch.2 -- Ahmedabad 20 Aug 1969 (p 40)
Ch.3 -- Bombay 14 Sep 1969 (p 77)
Ch.4 -- Bombay 14 Sep 1969 (p 83)
Ch.5 -- Bombay 14 Sep 1969 (p 94)

It can be seen that the titles are somewhat varied, with eight different ones. But one consistent piece throughout is that the chapter / discourse entitled असुरक्षा से संबोधि is by far the longest in all of them. -- updated doofus-9 (talk) 00:23, 11 December 2014 (PST)

"Longest in all of them" refers to # of pages in e-book and hard copy and audio timings given by o-com.

Revisiting to align same-titled chapters for easier comparison in the table above, we can see a few things, leaving aside chapter numbers: There are at least two of each title except for Diamond's ch 6, giving each a certain solidity. The possibility of eight "conversations" mentioned in the article page seems not unrealistic, if titles are not just renaming or regrouping other titles, and the eight titles above may be sufficient.-- doofus-9 05:45, 19 March 2017 (UTC)

Hindi series of talks with dates (source document) supplies some info:

"Informal Talks, 6 talks, 18.08.69-20.08.69". It seems that at least the 2 of them in Ahmedabad 19 & 20 Aug can be a part of these six. Btw, this list is accurate enough.
Also "Intimate & Informal talks, 3 talks 14.09.69-15.09.69" can be ch 3-5 of the e-book in Bombay. This approximately confirms other sources (except for 15-vs-14 for the last one) for Kshan. The free offering of OW has only 5 mp3s.

But audio on OW under the title Nanak Dukhiya Sab Sansar #8, has been found to be the discourse Sambodhi Ke Kshan #5.

Question: the audio from OW called Sambodhi Ke Kshan #05, may that be #06 ? --DhyanAntar 13:05, 10 December 2018 (UTC)

osho.com mentions 8 audios, of which only #01 -- 06 are available, see in the above table for details.

It needs to be researched what is what. --Sugit (talk) 07:02, 17 December 2018 (UTC)
