Deliberations

Subject/Theme/Category of this book is given by one of the original wiki pages (2) for the book, preserved at "Samundra Samana Boond Mein", as "Letters, Interviews and Press Conferences," not exactly Q&A, not exactly Letters, and there isn't yet a Hindi Press Conference/Interview category. Let's see. "Doc X" gives the subj as Q&A, which seems as sensible and reliable as anything for now. Nothing whatsoever could be found on the net about the 1974 edition from Motilal other than confirming its (one-time) existence. Since the preceding was written, the earlier edition has been found, source Neeten's Osho Source Book Bibliography section. Beyond its earlierness, it adds no new info. Perhaps the 1974 edition is just a reprint?

About the other editions: One source refers to the publisher as "Sadhana Pocket Books" instead of Rebel. May be just an in-house shuffling of names -- as in the fairly frequent and misguided attribution of Rebel or OMI titles to "Sadhana Foundations" (sic) -- or may be a different outfit or at least different imprint. More research needed! Meanwhile, such info as has been found has been merged, ie 2003 Rebel image with ISBN, may or may not be justified.

And re the Bhai Jawahar edition ... this is somewhat from left field but found chez a "usually reliable" source, so included. The source does not provide an ISBN or an indication of what language the book is in. As the publisher is based in Amritsar, and the book is offered for sale in Europe, and Punjabi is more commonly spoken outside India than Hindi, this edition may turn out to be Punjabi. The actual name of the book is still the same, and in Devanagari, so Hindi is for now assumed, but Punjabi does use Devanagari as one of its two alphabets/scripts. More than you wanted to know! -- updated doofus-9 (talk) 00:15, 13 December 2014 (PST)

1971 Motilal edition

TOC checked with image from the 1997 Rebel edition, added since earlier text above, for now the definitive edition. "Paperback" presumed on the basis of edition not being called a "special deluxe" edition. And while we're here, may as well add to the category possibilities by noting that three of the chapter titles (#2, 3 and 6) are clearly of the "Politics and Society" genre. -- doofus-9 18:15, 10 March 2018 (UTC)

Added second column above to compare titles with the ten-chapter 1971 first edition. (Ten chapters includes preface by Dr Ramchandra Prasad.) There are four titles in common between the two editions. More research is needed to determine further correspondences, if any. -- doofus-9 07:13, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
Chapter 7 of Motilal matches wrongly. See top table for comparing all editions, audios and matching to events. Hovewer dates are unknown for this series.--DhyanAntar 13:16, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
